The five waterside suites are uniquely named and styled to reflect the charm and colors of different kingfisher species: Giant Suite, Malachite Suite, Mangrove Suite, Pied Suite, and Woodland Suite. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide breathtaking views, while double doors open onto private wooden decks. The interiors feature soaring thatched ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and plush curtains, harmoniously paired with understated African art for a refined yet authentic ambiance.
Children under six years old may only join family safaris, subject to management's discretion.
Giant Suite
This spacious suite is inspired by the Giant Kingfisher, Africa’s largest kingfisher species, which grows up to 44 cm long. Renowned for its distinctive call and nesting habits along the riverbanks near the villa, the suite captures the bird’s subtle elegance in its sophisticated design.
Malachite Suite
The Malachite Kingfisher, with its vivid blue plumage accented by hints of orange and red, is mirrored in this suite’s vibrant and artistic details. Every corner reflects the bird’s striking beauty and energy.
Mangrove Suite
Drawing inspiration from the Mangrove Kingfisher, known for its red beak and grey feathers with a blue-green sheen, this suite showcases a contemporary design with soft tones and textures that echo the bird’s unique coloration.
Pied Suite
Inspired by the Pied Kingfisher’s striking black-and-white plumage, this suite embodies minimalistic elegance. The clean lines and understated luxury create a tranquil retreat with sweeping views of the surrounding bushveld.
