The Details
The Camp
At this unique camp, a sense of community quickly forms among guests. Meals are shared together, either in the open-air thatched gazebo or in the boma overlooking a well-frequented waterhole. The camp’s plunge pool offers a refreshing escape from the summer heat, while the shaded hide near the waterhole allows guests to observe animals in their natural habitat without being detected. Please note that Mashatu Tent Camp does not offer air conditioning or heating.

Eight spacious private tents are nestled beneath large trees and are accessed via winding paths. Each tent is roomy, mounted on raised platforms, and features private outdoor en-suite bathrooms with a toilet and shower—offering the unique experience of showering under the stars.

The Lala Limpopo Sleep Out Hide is a dedicated overnight hide experience running from 16 h00 to 09 h00. Night Under the Stars – WalkMashatu Fly Camp
