Mashatu Tent Camp offers a personalized bush experience, perfect for those who want an up-close connection with nature in a more secluded setting. At night, you can hear the sounds of hyenas, leopards, and lions echoing nearby.
Only guests aged 12 and above are welcome
At this unique camp, a sense of community quickly forms among guests. Meals are enjoyed together, either in the open-air thatched gazebo or in the boma, overlooking a well-frequented waterhole. The camp’s plunge pool offers a refreshing escape from the summer heat, while the shaded hide near the waterhole allows guests to observe animals in their natural habitat without being detected. Please note, Mashatu Tent Camp does not offer air conditioning or heating.
8 Private Tents
Eight spacious, private tents are nestled beneath large trees and are accessed via winding paths. Each tent is roomy, mounted on raised platforms, and features private outdoor en-suite bathrooms with a toilet and shower—offering the unique experience of showering under the stars.

Keith - best travel agent in the world
Keith is such an amazing communicator, very organised and helpful. This will be my first ever visit to the Kruger national park. As a fellow South African I never had the chance to visit the Kruger NP. Keith sent us voice recordings and I cried listening to his accent and hearing the beautiful nature in the background bringing back so many fond memories of our beautiful country.
