Plains Camp offers 4 twin comfortably furnished African explorer style tents, en suite with indoor shower, hot running water and all the comforts of home with the African Wilderness on your doorstep.
Plains Camp is not only distinctive in its design—with only four East African Safari-style tents—but also in the way things are done. It is an established trail with walks of up to four hours, allowing you to immerse your senses in a hands-on experience, not just a mid-morning stroll after breakfast.
What sets it apart is the combination of the wealth of knowledge and experience of the camp's highly qualified trail guides, the unique elegance of the furnishings and treasured antiques, the quality of food and service, and the presence of a cool plunge pool in which to enjoy a cocktail overlooking the plain between walks.
And for those looking for something extra special, there is the added attraction of an optional night spent out under the stars at the sleep-out decks, under the care of a qualified guide. We are delighted to showcase this one-of-a-kind blend of style and Kruger's pristine wilderness, catering to supporters of ethical and responsible environmental tourism.
The price includes accommodation, meals (brunch, high tea, and dinner), teas and coffees, and two activities per day. Each guest will receive a complimentary glass of wine, local beer, cider, or soft drink during the late afternoon/evening game drive.
Transfers between Rhino Post Safari Lodge and Plains Camp at scheduled times are also included. Plains Camp @ Rhino Walking Safaris offers morning and afternoon walk/game drive experiences (for guests aged 12 years and older).

Leigh-Ann from Safari.com was great to work with to plan our group safari trip. She was able to get me on the priority waitlist for a lodge that I liked, which ended up working out for our group during my preferred dates. Leigh-Ann was responsive and provided various tour recommendations for us to decide on the best option for us. There were a few email and name typos from Leigh-Ann that I had to correct, but other than that, I had a great experience.

Dolan was terrific
Dolan was terrific. He got back to us immediately to answer all of our questions. And was so nice to hold a room for a couple of days because of my moms passing. It gave us time to finalize her arrangements and time to book our trip. I would highly recommend using him to book your trip!!

Went through Newmarket travel and Hays…
Went through Newmarket travel and Hays travel ..information about flight changes hard to get..but on arrival the holiday was taken over Safari.com..amazing ..experience everything was fine tuned and the staff ..guides drivers fabulous and friendly ..lots of knowledge..lots of fun and the surprises they did was so lovely ...loved every minute ..Paris our guide was amazing..10/10 and Eric driver ..the waiters and waitress every and everyone in the hotels .smiling and friendly..Best holiday of my life
