The Detail

The architecturally designed lodge has been strategically positioned along the seasonal Ross River in the Timbavati Game Reserve. The interior designer has created a relaxed ambiance with indoor and outdoor guest spaces that seamlessly flow into one another, enabling both communal and private moments that exude an authentic bush feel.

RockFig Safari Lodge is the perfect bush destination for families with children of all ages or groups of friends.

Morning and afternoon game drives with professional guides and trackers, and a maximum of four guests per vehicle, ensure incredible wildlife experiences that bring this wild corner of South Africa to life.

Activities include two daily game viewing experiences with a professional guide and tracker. You can tailor your activities to suit your group. Game viewing is spectacular, offering opportunities to see any of the Big Five with the added bonus of tracking wild dogs, cheetahs, and white lions.

Optional activities include rhino chipping, elephant collaring, helicopter flips over Blyde River, and microlight flights.
