The Detail
The Delight is a contemporary hotel set in the heart of Swakopmund, Namibia. This modern hotel offers comfortable accommodations, including Standard Twin and Family Rooms. Guests are welcomed into rooms equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs for their comfort and entertainment.
At the hotel, you'll find the Hotel Bar, where guests can enjoy a nightcap with friends and other hotel visitors. There is also the Breakfast Floor, offering a buffet breakfast. Guests can benefit from the convenience of a 24-hour front desk and the option of packed lunches for excursions.

Family
For stays until 31 October 2026, children up to 5 years stay free of charge, and children aged 6 to 13 receive 50% off the adult rate for accommodation, pre-booked meals and activities. Children aged 6 to 13 count as room occupants. Family rooms sleep two adults and two children, or four adults.
Bush & beach
Two guided tours from Windhoek combine two nights at The Delight on the Swakopmund coast with Damaraland and game drives in Etosha. The 10 Day Namibian Highlights Tour also includes Sossusvlei and departs on the first and third Monday of each month, while the 7 Day Northern Namibian Adventure Tour departs on the first and third Thursday; scheduled departures run until October 2027. Both tours include accommodation, meals and activities as per the itinerary, a Twyfelfontein excursion, a Himba village visit and a local English-speaking guide, but not dinners in Swakopmund, flights, airport transfers or drinks. Both tours need at least two travellers and do not take children under 10.
