You should know

• A maximum of 1 child per room can be accommodated. Children sharing a room with their parents are limited to ground floor rooms only during the period 20 December to 06 January and are therefore subject to availability over this time period.
• 0 - 3 years - child stays free of charge if accommodated in a cot and sharing with parents
  4 - 12 years - child pays a supplement if sharing with parents
• 13 years and older - child must be accommodated in a separate room

The detail

Only 15km away from the V&A Waterfront, and on the Cape Peninsula route, the hotel is within easy reach of popular Cape Town attractions. Close by is the upmarket shopping precinct of Cavendish Square, local arts and crafts facilities, the world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens and the Constantia Winelands.

The hotel comprises of 208 rooms, suites and cottages spread across the estate with views of the courtyard water gardens, treed parkland, and mountainscape. Each room has a King or twin beds, en-suite with bath and separate shower, Nespresso coffee station, and other standard amenities.

59 Courtyard Standard Rooms feature on three floors, amidst the shady tree-ferned courtyard garden and water features.

55 Courtyard Deluxe Rooms feature in the quiet green tree-ferned garden amongst fountains and canals.

6 Cottages situated on both Liesbeek riverbanks offer private, apartment-style self-cater units away from the main Hotel. With views that take in our working vineyard, riverbank gardens, and bridges and the terraced slopes of the Hotel manor house.  All units have 2 bedrooms, with 1 king and 1 twin bed, and 2 bathrooms. The cottages feature a kitchenette, as well as an open plan dining/lounge area and either a balcony or patio. This is an ideal option for families.

The Vineyard’s 26 Luxury and Junior Suites, are located in some of the hotel’s loveliest settings and offer spaciously-designed multi-room and open-plan interiors, separate en-suite, lounge and living areas and feature either private sundecks, balconies or multiple-window views. They feature separate en-suite bath and shower, with spacious lounge area. Some step out onto balconies or sundecks while others have large picture windows.

62 Mountain facing rooms are located on three floors overlooking the lawns and gardens and have a unique view of the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. These are some of the hotel’s most requested ‘rooms with a view’.

The hotel boasts a wellness studio, fitness center, spa, jogging route, children's activities, 2 restaurants, a garden lounge, and two cafes.

A 100-seater Square Restaurant that serves buffet breakfasts, a la carte lunches, and themed dinners. There is a dedicated sushi chef and a Kids’ Menu.

Myoga Restaurant is an independently-owned 100-seater ‘cuisinerie’, that serves an eclectic menu incorporating a multitude of flavours and influences, both local and global. Casually sophisticated lunch offers lighter-meal mains and ‘illicit’ desserts. Serious food-lovers can enjoy 7-course dinner or wine-pairing menus, featuring innovative dishes and superb Cape wines.

The Garden Lounge and Patio is an informal venue that overlooks the gardens and mountain, serving light meals and refreshments throughout the day, indoors and out. Sample favorites like fish & chips, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, and salads, or our Afternoon Tea, with a selection of cakes, pastries, and savories. A quiet cup of coffee is also served in the Daniell Room and Library.
