Location

Pearl Valley Hotel lies on the R301 Wemmershoek Road outside Paarl, in the heart of the Cape Winelands. The secure estate is framed by the Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains, with Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and the wine routes of the valley all within easy reach.

The hotel forms part of a lifestyle estate built around the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, which has been rated among South Africa's top three and awarded the Five Star Experience Award by Compleat Golfer for six consecutive years.

Accommodation

The hotel offers 63 one-bedroom suites, one of which is wheelchair friendly, along with five two-bedroom suites.

One-bedroom suites feature an open-plan living area leading onto a balcony or patio with views over the greens and fynbos gardens, and a full en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Two-bedroom suites accommodate up to four guests, with a king-bedded main bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, a twin second bedroom and a separate guest bathroom with shower. A lounge and dining area divides the two bedrooms, opening onto a balcony or patio.

Activities

Beyond golf, the estate offers an outdoor swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, pétanque, a fully equipped gym, spa and hair salon, and extensive walking, jogging and mountain biking trails through the fynbos. Wine tasting in Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch is a short drive away.
