Suites

All suites are air-conditioned, offering a modern blend of comfort and the wild beauty of Africa. Each suite features a private patio, a lounge area, an outdoor shower, and a Jacuzzi on the wooden deck with a view of the river, offering a truly luxurious game lodge experience. The suites offer complete privacy, enhancing the romantic atmosphere at Pondoro Game Lodge.

Water Suite: Inspired by a waterfall flowing silently down the headboard of the bed.
Buffalo Suite: A large buffalo painting by Lize dominates the headboard, in a modern styled room.
Earth Suite: Earth-toned walls and clay pots add an African touch to this suite with a rustic, earthy theme.
Tree Suite: Named after a large Jackalberry tree outside, accented by a stunning leadwood stump inside.
Rock Suite: A striking rock stack forms the headboard, complemented by a beautiful stone bath and other unique decor.

Chalets
Pondoro Game Lodge offers three beautifully designed chalets with an authentic African aesthetic, overlooking the Olifants River. All chalets feature en-suite bathrooms (with both a shower and bath), air-conditioning, mosquito nets, and a wooden deck for ultimate comfort and serenity. The chalets are named Hardekool, Wildevy, and Maroela.

Treehouse Hide
Pondoro offers a unique overnight Treehouse Hide Experience, overlooking a waterhole. Begin your adventure with a late-night drive to the hide, where you’ll spend the night, and return to the lodge during your morning safari.

Game Viewing Experience
The Balule Private Nature Reserve shares no fences with Kruger National Park, allowing for exceptional wildlife sightings. Enjoy game drives across 30,000 acres of wilderness, with vehicle limits at sightings to ensure exclusivity.

Dining at Pondoro is a blend of traditional African flavors with modern European influences. Enjoy a meal complemented by wine from an extensive selection in the wine cellar. After dinner, relax with a Cuban cigar and a glass of Port or Cognac if desired. All meals are served on a wooden deck nestled in the tree canopy, overlooking the Olifants River.
