The Table Mountain National Park, with its beautiful mountains and beaches, stretches from the historic Signal Hill to the rugged Cape Point. As world heritage sites are concerned, the Cape Floristic Region is one of the most immediately striking in the entire world. The park is surrounded entirely by a City and for this reason, it is fragmented by urban development and privately owned land.
Smitswinkel Tented Camp is situated just over the road from the entrance to Cape Point , lies in the shade of a weathered Flowering Gum plantation Its’ location provides the ideal base from which to explore the wealth of attractions in the South Peninsula.
Slangkop Tented Camp is nestled within indigenous Milkwoods, no more than 100m from the sea, this marine-themed tented camp is the perfect location to watch the sun sink in the Atlantic Ocean. Situated at the edge of the quaint village of Kommetjie.
Platteklip Wash House is situated in Oranjezicht, Cape Town on the lower slopes of Table Mountain. The restored Platteklip Wash House is a historical house that was part of the Wash House complex for the town’s washer women in the late 19th century.
The wash house can accommodate up to 24 people. If you book a PLR 4C at The Platteklip Wash Houses you will be sharing a communal kitchen, dining room and lounge.
The Overseers Cottage can accommodate up to 16 people in two fully equipped and self-catered accommodation units. This cottage is hiking accommodation and no vehicles are allowed up the mountain. Arrangements with the Platteklip Wash Houses prior to arrival with regards to porterage and arrival time on top of the mountain at the cottage. Porterage is from Constantia Nek parking area. Keith - best travel agent in the world
Keith is such an amazing communicator, very organised and helpful. This will be my first ever visit to the Kruger national park. As a fellow South African I never had the chance to visit the Kruger NP. Keith sent us voice recordings and I cried listening to his accent and hearing the beautiful nature in the background bringing back so many fond memories of our beautiful country. These messages were so special! I can’t wait to visit and am really looking forward to the most magical experience.
