Itinerary

Day 1 - 3: Moremi Game Reserve

Today you will fly from Maun to the beautiful Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana. Moremi Game Reserve sits within the Okavango Delta – one of the world's most famous safari destinations – for a very good reason. The Big 5 is often spotted throughout the reserve, along with the famous wild dog, an incredible array of antelope, and a range of big cats. This selection of wildlife against the incredible backdrop of the waterways, forests, and plains of Moremi Game Reserve is a bucket list trip for anyone fortunate enough to visit.

Your lodge for your stay is the elegant Khwai Leadwood camp. This beautiful camp is tucked under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. This river is all that separates the iconic Moremi Game Reserve and the concession, with hippos, elephants, and even lions crossing over from time to time.

Khwai’s biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the plentiful and extraordinary wildlife – you’ll never be bored here! Adventure and relaxation are on offer as guests live out their ultimate safari experience – from setting off on a morning walking safari to enjoying a gin and tonic overlooking the Khwai River.

Activities during your stay here:

  • Open vehicle morning & evening game drives
  • Guided bush walks
  • Bird watching
  • Cultural tours
  • Mokoro (dugout canoe) safaris (dependent on water levels)

Day 4 - 6: An Authentic Safari Experience in the Chobe Enclave

This area provides a remote and high-quality safari experience along the scenic Linyanti River, with guest accommodation in a handful of earthy camps offering a wide range of wet and dry safari activities.

Your lodge for the next three nights is Linyanti Bush Camp, situated in the Chobe Enclave. The Chobe Enclave teems with wildlife and is best known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo. Linyanti Bush Camp sits on the banks of the Linyanti Wetlands – a significant area that is one of the primary water sources during the drier months. Look forward to exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round.
