Buhoma is a small village located at the northern entrance of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, known primarily as a gateway for mountain gorilla trekking. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
After you have landed at Entebbe Airport, our representative will be waiting for you outside the arrival terminal and will transfer you to Protea Hotel for your overnight stay.
Accommodation: Protea Hotel.
Meal Plan: Bed and breakfast.
Day 2: Flight to Kihihi, Transfer to Buhoma
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport by 5:50 am, where you can check in by 6:00 am for your 7:00 am flight to Kihihi, arriving at 8:45 am.
On arrival at Kihihi, a representative from Mahogany Springs Lodge will meet you and transfer you to Buhoma, a prime location for gorilla trekking.
Accommodation: Overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Buhoma
Wake up early for a delicious breakfast by 6:45 am, followed by a transfer to the park headquarters in Buhoma for a briefing.
Gorilla Trekking:
Embark on a 2–8-hour trek to find the mountain gorillas. Spend up to one hour observing the gorillas once located.
Accommodation: Overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 4: Departure from Kihihi to Entebbe
Transfer to Kihihi after breakfast to catch your 9:45 am departure flight back to Entebbe.
