Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you'll be transferred to Karen Blixen Cottages, where you'll check into a Classic Room. This luxurious hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and a great introduction to your safari experience.

After check-in, you can unwind and enjoy the hotel’s amenities, with breakfast included daily to ensure you're well-rested and prepared for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi Exploration

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day excursion with a private guide in a comfortable 3-seater sedan vehicle.

Your day will include a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll learn about the conservation efforts for orphaned elephants, along with a stop at Nairobi National Park. You'll then head to the Giraffe Centre to see the endangered Rothschild giraffes up close. After a full day of exploration, return to Karen Blixen Cottages for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Transfer to the Masai Mara

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to Wilson Airport for your flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, where you’ll settle into your Superior Tent.

Enjoy lunch at the camp, taking in the stunning surroundings and preparing for your first safari experience in this iconic wildlife reserve.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Drive

Your day begins with breakfast at the camp before embarking on a shared game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve. During your game drive, you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

After a day of exploring, return to Kichwa Tembo for lunch and some downtime. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying the camp’s facilities before retiring for the night at the camp.

Day 5: Travel to Tanzania

After breakfast, your camp guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight from the Masai Mara to Migori. From there, you’ll be driven to Tarime, followed by a scheduled flight to Fort Ikoma.

Upon arrival at Fort Ikoma, you’ll be transferred to the luxurious Simbavati Grumeti Camp by private vehicle, where you'll enjoy a welcome lunch and settle into your new surroundings. The camp, located in the Serengeti, provides a peaceful, immersive experience in one of the most sought-after wildlife areas.

Day 6: Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a private game drive in Serengeti National Park with your expert guide. The Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, and your guide will take you to prime locations to spot animals in the wild.

You’ll enjoy a packed lunch during your drive, taking in the beauty of the park. Return to Simbavati Grumeti Camp in the late afternoon for relaxation and a delicious dinner, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 7: Journey to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you’ll travel from Grumeti to Ngorongoro with your private guide and vehicle. On the way, stop for a packed lunch before visiting the historic Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world.

After your visit, you’ll arrive at Melia Ngorongoro, where you'll check into your Rim Room. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and take in the breathtaking views before retiring for the night.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Your day begins with breakfast at Melia Ngorongoro, followed by a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a haven for wildlife, and your guide will lead you to the best spots for animal sightings.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the crater and continue your exploration. After a fulfilling day, return to Melia Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay, soaking in the serene atmosphere of this remarkable location.

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred from Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara with your private guide and vehicle. Along the way, enjoy a packed lunch before heading to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and elephants, this park offers unique wildlife sightings.

After a day of exploration, you’ll head to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, where you’ll check into your suite and enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, surrounded by the beauty of the park.

Day 10: Departure from Tanzania

On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before being transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport with your private guide and vehicle.

A packed lunch will be provided as you travel. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro, you'll say goodbye to Tanzania and depart for your onward journey.
