The Details

Location

Soroi Amboseli sits inside Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya, tucked into a quiet stretch of forest with open views across the plains to Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The park is known for its resident elephant families, which move through the marshes and short-grass plains within easy reach of camp.

Rooms

There are 16 tents in total: 13 Double Luxury Tents, one Starbed Deluxe Suite and two Two-Bedroom Family Units. Each tent has a canvas roof, natural textures, plush beds and a private deck facing the bush. Complimentary Wi-Fi runs throughout, and drinking water, laundry and 24-hour solar power are standard.

Dining

Meals are served indoors and outdoors, with fireplaces at both settings for cooler evenings. The kitchen caters to all dietary requirements. Bush dinners under the stars and sundowner drinks on the plains are part of the standard rhythm at camp.

Activities

Twice-daily game drives run in custom-built 4x4 vehicles with experienced guides who read the park's elephant, lion and plains game. Guided walking safaris, birdwatching outings and visits to nearby Maasai villages round out the programme. The Starbed suite offers the option of sleeping under the stars for guests wanting a night away from canvas walls.

Spa

The private bush spa uses locally sourced oils and treatments drawn from natural elements. In-tent treatments are also available for guests who prefer to unwind between drives without leaving their deck.
