You Should Know
Children of all ages are welcome in all camps. Children under 18 years old are charged 50% of the nightly adult rate and park fees and conservation levies. Children 3 years old and under are free of charge when sharing with an adult. Families with four or fewer members, including at least one child younger than 8 years, are required to book and pay for the use of a private game viewer for the duration of their stay. Adults are responsible for supervising children at all times. The minimum age for walking, canoeing, and sleepout activities is 12 years old and at the discretion of the guide.
This camp is open year-round and accessible via a one-hour game drive transfer from Mfuwe Airport.

The Detail
Situated along a scenic bend of the Luangwa River, Time and Tide Chinzombo combines elegance and sophistication in the heart of the Luangwa Valley. While exuding luxury, the camp maintains an authentic bush feel with its grass and canvas walls, blending seamlessly into the tranquil riverside surroundings.
Accommodation
Chinzombo redefines luxury in the Luangwa Valley with a stylish, comfortable, and elegant design. The camp features six luxurious villas, including a family-specific two-bedroom villa, each equipped with a private pool, air-cooled sleeping areas, expansive bathrooms, and Wi-Fi. The main lodge complements these accommodations with dining areas, a lounge, a bar, a campfire area, and a riverfront deck.
The luxury tents offer indulgent soaking tubs with views of the riverfront, large verandahs with private pools, and spacious interiors that include a lounge area. Guests can choose between double or twin-bed setups. The tents are equipped with mains power, multi-adaptor plugs, limited Wi-Fi, and phone signal availability.
The Family Villa features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It offers a soaking tub with views of the riverfront and a large verandah complete with a private pool. The villa's spacious interiors include a comfortable lounge area and can be configured with either double or twin beds. Modern amenities in the villa include mains power and multi-adaptor plugs, though Wi-Fi and phone signals are limited.

Game Drives
Night drives often begin as an extension of the afternoon game drive or walking safari. As dusk falls, you'll stop to watch the sunset before setting off to discover the nocturnal wildlife. This is prime time to encounter genets, civets, elephant shrews, porcupines, and fierce honey badgers.
Large predators, aside from wild dogs, are more active after dark, enhancing your chances of thrilling sightings. Birdwatching at night is also rewarding, with an abundance of nightjars, owls, dikkops, bat hawks, and coursers.
Star Gazing
The African night sky, free from light pollution, offers a breathtaking backdrop. The brilliance of the Milky Way and constellations like the Southern Cross, Orion, and Scorpio add to the unforgettable experience. The distant calls of lions, cicadas, and tree frogs under the crescent moon create lasting memories of the African wilderness.

Stay & Pay
Stay a minimum of four nights and receive one night complimentary, available in the Green Season, classified for offer purposes as November to June. Longer stays qualify year round: stay a minimum of seven nights and receive one night complimentary, or a minimum of ten nights and receive two nights complimentary. Qualifying nights may be accumulated across any combination of Time + Tide camps in Zambia, complimentary nights are applied to the lowest priced nights' accommodation, park fees and conservation levies remain payable on them, and the offers cannot be combined with other Time + Tide offers.
Honeymoon
Honeymooners staying a minimum of five nights within six months of the wedding receive 50 per cent off their partner's accommodation. Available year round, with the discount applying to the accommodation component only, park fees and conservation levies remaining payable, and proof of the wedding date required. The offer cannot be combined with other Time + Tide offers.
Long stay
The Jetset Safari combines a minimum of five nights at any Time + Tide camps in Zambia with five nights at Time + Tide Tsara Komba or Miavana by Time + Tide in Madagascar, and includes two complimentary nights across the itinerary together with complimentary return helicopter transfers between Diego Suarez or Nosy Be and Miavana. Available year round, with no minimum or maximum number of camps required in the itinerary. Complimentary nights are applied to the lowest priced nights' accommodation, park fees and conservation levies remain payable on them, and the offer cannot be combined with other Time + Tide offers.
Family
Children of all ages are welcome. Those aged three and under stay free of charge when sharing with an adult, and children aged four to seventeen sharing with an adult are charged 50 per cent of the adult nightly rate and of the park fees and conservation levies. Families of four or fewer members that include at least one child under twelve are required to book and pay for a private vehicle for the duration of the stay.
