15-Day Safari Adventure: Botswana, Victoria Falls & Zanzibar

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel. Check into your Superior Room and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, surrounded by breathtaking views of the majestic Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and Devil’s Peak.

Days 2 – 4: Exploring Cape Town

Start each morning with a delicious breakfast before setting out to discover the beauty and charm of Cape Town. Explore iconic landmarks such as Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront, or take a scenic drive along the Cape Peninsula to Cape Point.

In the evenings, immerse yourself in Cape Town’s vibrant culinary scene.

Day 5: Fly to Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, Botswana

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Maun, Botswana, followed by a light aircraft flight to Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge in Chobe National Park.

Check into your Luxury Tented Room, where contemporary comfort meets wilderness elegance. Enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the Savute Channel as the sun sets over the bush.

Day 6: Safari in the Savute Region

Experience the raw beauty of the Savute region, famous for the large elephant herds and predator activity. Wake up early for the morning game drives guided by expert rangers, relax by the pool or from the lodge’s elevated deck with panoramic views before embarking on your afternoon safaris.

Day 7: Transfer to Belmond Eagle Island Lodge

After breakfast and a final morning game drive, fly by light aircraft to Belmond Eagle Island Lodge in the Okavango Delta. Settle into your Deluxe Tented Room, a tranquil retreat surrounded by the delta’s waterways. In the evening, enjoy a mokoro excursion or sunset boat cruise, followed by a gourmet dinner under the African stars.

Day 8: Discovering the Okavango Delta

Spend the day exploring the delta through mokoro safaris, boat excursions, or guided nature walks. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife while learning about the region’s unique ecosystem. Between activities, unwind in your private tented suite with stunning water views.

Day 9: Transfer to Victoria Falls River Lodge, Zimbabwe

Fly via light aircraft to Kasane Airport, then continue to Victoria Falls River Lodge. Nestled along the Zambezi River, this luxury tented lodge combines riverfront tranquility with an authentic safari feel.

In the evening, enjoy a sunset river cruise complete with snacks and local drinks.

Day 10: Victoria Falls & Safari Adventures

After breakfast, take an optional guided tour of the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive or another sunset cruise along the river. The lodge’s location offers exceptional wildlife sightings right from your doorstep.

Day 11: Fly to Zanzibar via Johannesburg

After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, via Johannesburg. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Essque Zalu Zanzibar, where you’ll stay on a Full Board basis in luxurious beachfront accommodation. Relax with a welcome drink and dinner overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Days 12–14: Beach Bliss & Island Exploration

Spend three serene days at Essque Zalu Zanzibar, balancing relaxation with adventure. Lounge by the infinity pool, enjoy rejuvenating spa treatments, or stroll along the pristine beach.

Optional activities include snorkeling among coral reefs, sunset dhow cruises, or cultural visits to Stone Town and spice plantations.

Day 15: Departure
