Day 1: Arrival at Garonga Safari Camp

You'll arrive at Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) after your flight from Johannesburg (JNB) and be met for a leisurely drive on a road transfer to Garonga Safari Camp. Upon arrival, guests can unwind in their luxurious tent and soak in the serene bushveld views from their private deck and hammock. Later, you will enjoy an exciting first game drive, followed by a boma dinner beneath the stars.

Day 2: Immersing in Nature in Makalali Private Game Reserve

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, perfect for spotting wildlife as they start their day. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and spend the midday hours lounging by the pool, enjoying a massage at the camp’s sala, or treating yourself to a relaxing private bush bath. In the afternoon, take a guided bush walk to discover the intricate beauty of the smaller creatures of the African wilderness. End your day with sundowners, a delicious dinner, and stargazing.

Day 3: Garonga Safari Camp Leisure

Head out on another early morning game drive to search for more of the Big Five. Return to the camp for breakfast and then unwind with a peaceful yoga session at the camp’s yoga sala. Enjoy a leisurely bush lunch. After dinner, indulge in a romantic star bath, where you can soak while gazing at the night sky.

Day 4: Sleep Out Under the Stars

Kick off the day with an early morning game drive, tracking lions, elephants, and more. You'll spend the afternoon relaxing at your tent or by the pool, or reading on your private deck. Savor a light lunch in the dining area. In the evening, embark on the unforgettable sleep-out experience (subject to availability), and spend the night on a deck overlooking a waterhole, serenaded by the sounds of nature.

Day 5: Sundowners and Relaxation

After a refreshing sleep-out, you will enjoy another delicious breakfast in the heart of the bush. Head back to your room, and take the day to relax with a final yoga session or indulge in a peaceful bush bath. Cap off the day with sundowners and a romantic dinner.

Day 6: Final Safari and Departure

Enjoy one last game drive before breakfast, soaking in the final glimpses of the magnificent wildlife. After breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg (JNB).
