This fly-in safari tour starts in the elegant five-start, fully Ecotourisim-certified safari lodge, that is the only property that is located inside the world-renowned Chobe National Park. The Chobe Game Lodge is set on the banks of the famous Chobe River. After three days you will be transferred by charter plane to Camp Okavango, situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta on the island of Nxaragha. This island is surrounded by water all year round which offers an authentic Okavango Delta water wilderness experience.
Today, you depart on your scheduled flight from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Maun International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by a representative of Chobe Game Lodge, who will escort you to your charter flight. Be sure to look out for wildlife on your way to the lodge.
After checking in to your room, you will have some time to relax before heading out on an exciting late afternoon game drive.
Accommodation: Chobe Game Lodge
Your day starts at dawn with an early light breakfast and fresh tea or coffee before you head out on a morning game drive. On your return to the lodge after an exciting morning exploring the bush, a breakfast/brunch will be served.
In the afternoon, you will set out on another game activity, such as a sundowner cruise on the Chobe River or a game drive exploring the Chobe area. Sunset cruises allow you to view the wildlife that congregates at the water’s edge while enjoying an awe-inspiring African sunset.
Dinner ranges from a delectable stir-fry evening to a mouth-watering three-course à la carte menu.

Excellent Pre-Trip Planning and Booking Assistance
We have not yet done the trip, but the planning process working with Safari.com has gone very smoothly. The agent who worked with me listened to my interests and requirements and proposed an itinerary that meets those needs perfectly. She was professional and responsive despite the 9-hour time difference between us. I would not hesitate to engage Safari.com again for future trips to South Africa.
