Your journey begins with a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On landing, you will be warmly greeted for a private transfer to Jock Safari Lodge. Located in 6,000 hectares of untouched African bushveld within the Kruger National Park, the legendary exclusive Big 5 game viewing opportunity awaits you with its exclusive riverbed traversing rights.
Settle into your secluded thatched suite, offering utter privacy, veiled with lush trees and reed walls. Each leads onto a private deck with a plunge pool and a Sala, an outdoor daybed, all with a spectacular view of the riverbed.
In the afternoon, you will head out with your guide and tracker for a game drive through the reserve in search of wildlife, including the Big 5. Expect an uninterrupted game-viewing experience in an untouched African wilderness. Arrive back at the lodge in time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.

An early morning wake-up call starts the day, followed by a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee and rusks before setting off on a morning game drive.
Morning and evening drives are performed in covered 4×4 Land Cruisers conducted by highly experienced rangers. Traversing through the concession, the wildlife is sometimes staggering in its diversity. Enthralling sightings of elephants, prides of lions, as well as a sea of buffalo horns rising from the grass as they lie resting in the growing heat, await you.
Relaxation can be spent lazing around the pool or indulging in one of the many spa treatments to awaken your senses and allow your body, mind, and soul to be rejuvenated.
Later in the afternoon, you will head out on your afternoon game drive, which may continue beyond dusk. Return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and reminisce about the day’s sightings.

After one final game drive and a warm, heartening breakfast, you bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer back to the airport in time to catch your flight back to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport.

Safari 2 Months Away, Wonderful and Fussfree Experience
We wanted to go a Safari in about 2 months and was looking around the lodging. Most of the places were booked. Pascal was very experience and responsive, he got us a lodging at our preferred game reserve and quickly booked for us. We were also impressed with the quick turnaround for itinerary and booking of flights. He made it so fuss-free and we didnt need to change much at all. When we were going through our SA plans, he also advised us how to get to Cape Town and recommended the best timing so that we could go into the game reserve once more before we departed. Thus far, the experience has been great and we are looking forward to see him in person!

Super responsive and helpful
From the very first time I had contacted Safari.com to plan our trip, Pascal John was super responsive regardless of the time of day and almost always able to provide useful information. When he wasn't able to give an immediate reply, he would check and come back very quickly.
