Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Camp Xakanaxa  

Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will board a scenic light aircraft flight to Camp Xakanaxa, located in the heart of the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. After settling into your luxury tented accommodation with stunning views of the Khwai River, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the reserve's diverse ecosystems. Enjoy a gourmet dinner back at camp, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Discovering Moremi Game Reserve  

Start your day with an early morning game drive, seeking out iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, and the elusive leopard. After a hearty breakfast back at camp, relax and enjoy the serene surroundings or take a refreshing dip in the pool. In the afternoon, venture out on a tranquil boat cruise along the river, where you'll spot birdlife and possibly hippos. End the day with a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Flight to Camp Okavango  

After a morning activity and breakfast at Camp Xakanaxa, take a short flight to Camp Okavango, nestled on a private island in the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and some downtime before setting out on an afternoon mokoro excursion, gliding silently through the delta’s waterways. Conclude your day with a candlelit dinner in the lodge’s elegant dining area.

Day 4: Immersed in the Okavango Delta  

Spend the day exploring the Okavango Delta’s unique landscapes with a variety of water-based activities. Guided mokoro rides and nature walks offer opportunities to witness the delta’s smaller creatures and diverse flora. Enjoy a midday siesta and a refreshing swim before heading out on a motorboat safari to watch the sunset over the pristine waterways. Return to the lodge for another exquisite dinner.

Day 5: Flight to Leroo La Tau  

Bid farewell to Camp Okavango as you board a flight to Leroo La Tau, located on the edge of the Boteti River in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. After checking into your luxury chalet, enjoy lunch with views of the river. In the late afternoon, head out on a game drive to explore the park, known for its large zebra and wildebeest migrations. End the evening with a delicious dinner and storytelling around the firepit.

Day 6: Exploring Makgadikgadi Pans National Park  

Start the day with an early game drive to track wildlife as the park awakens. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by leisure time to take in the breathtaking river views or relax by the pool. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive or a guided nature walk, concluding the day with a sundowner and a starlit dinner back at camp.

Day 7: Flight to Kasane and Transfer to Chobe Game Lodge  

After breakfast and a morning activity, take a flight to Kasane. Upon arrival, enjoy a transfer to the iconic Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge located inside Chobe National Park. After settling into your luxurious river-facing room, embark on a sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River, renowned for its large elephant herds and breathtaking landscapes. Return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner.

Day 8: Exploring Chobe National Park  

Your final full day is dedicated to exploring Chobe National Park. Begin with a sunrise game drive to witness the park’s rich biodiversity, including lions, buffalo, and an abundance of birdlife. After a leisurely breakfast, relax at the lodge or enjoy the infinity pool. In the afternoon, take another boat safari along the river to soak in the park's iconic sunset. Wrap up the day with a farewell dinner at the lodge.

Day 9: Departure  

After a leisurely breakfast at Chobe Game Lodge, transfer back to Kasane Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of this ultra-luxury Desert & Delta adventure.
