Your 10-day “Namibia Must-See” journey begins with a self-drive adventure from Windhoek Airport to Okapuka Safari Lodge, nestled on lush green lawns beneath ancient camel thorn trees. This afternoon, unwind and recharge as you take in sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
After breakfast, drive to Okonjima Plains Camp, set in a private reserve known for its wildlife and conservation efforts. Settle into your stylish room with sweeping views of the Okonjima grass plains and nearby waterhole.Enjoy lunch at the main lodge while watching animals roam past. During your stay, join a guided game drive through the reserve, home to leopards and the AfriCat Foundation. Relax, explore, and connect with nature in the heart of Namibia.
Today, after breakfast, you depart on a self-drive trip to Damaraland in Spitzkoppen Lodge.
The intrepid traveler in you will be impressed with the spectacular scenery, awe-inspiring wildlife, and ancient rock art for the next two days. Bask in the Namib Desert with an unhindered view across the plains in the thatched suites.
This morning, after breakfast, you will travel south to Swakopmund, a popular destination for international and local visitors. En route, you will encounter the most beautiful scenery. Once at your hotel, you will have two days to explore Swakopmund at your leisure.
Optional: Swakop Urban Tour, Eco Gliding Tour at an additional expense.
After breakfast, you will travel on to Sossusvlei, possibly Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attraction. Sossusvlei Lodge provides access to the colossal red sand dunes, the well-known pan, and the abyss of the Sesriem Canyon.
Optional: Hot air balloon ride at an additional expense.
Drive back to Windhoek Airport around lunchtime.
