About this itinerary.

Where you'll travel: South Africa Cape Town Sabi Sand Sabi Sabi Timbavati

Overview

Your journey begins in the “Mother City” of Cape Town, where you explore the vibrant streets, savor world-class cuisine and wines, and interact with the friendly locals. Your home for the next few days is the award-winning One & Only Cape Town, where you will experience extraordinary facilities, opulent accommodation, and warm hospitality.

After exploring the gorgeous coastline of Cape Town and the picturesque wine country, you head off on a true African safari adventure, staying in two famous private reserves located in the Greater Kruger National Park: Sabi Sands and Timbavati. Both reserves are renowned for the Big Five, but the Sabi Sands is most famous for its big cat sightings, while Timbavati offers the opportunity to see rare white lions. Your time on safari will be spent exploring the wilderness on open vehicle game drives and guided bush walks, encountering Africa's wildlife up-close.

You will first enjoy an intimate and personalized safari experience at Sabi Sabi Little Bush before heading to the Timbavati for an authentic tented safari offered at Ngala Tented Safari Camp. Both lodges are ultra-luxurious with world-class facilities and exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for travelers wanting the best of the best.

"Five Star level treatment. I booked our Safari in Sabi Sans at Arathusa lodge, and our stay in Cape Town South Africa back in August of 2026 and the experience had been amazing. Safari.com agents have every detail thought from travel insurance, eSIM for phones, private transportation, and booked us amazing experiences. We saw the Big 5 in the Safari, went cage Shark diving, did a private guided Cape Peninsula tour. Everything was perfect! This was our first time using Safari.com and we will definitely use them in the future. I would highly recommend this company."
