The Details
Amakhala Hlosi Game Lodge is an intimate lodge that is ideally suited to families looking for a "home away from home." The camp is fenced, which means that guests can relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.
Hlosi boasts four double suites, two 2-bedroom family suites, and eight luxury safari tents. These accommodations are positioned along a gentle curve of a hill above a river plain and feature private decks that offer spectacular views of the reserve.
Each of the suites features an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a sitting area, a mini-bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, air conditioning, underfloor heating, a private verandah, and an outside courtyard with a shower.
Hlosi Game Lodge is ideal for solo explorers, couples, and families looking for an intimate safari experience.

Bookings made within 60 days of arrival are quoted at our best available rate, tailored to late availability and demand, which may fall below the standard published rate. Reservations confirmed more than 60 days ahead are held at the standard seasonal rate, and this offer cannot be combined with other specials.
Family
Children of 16 years and under pay the child rate when sharing a room with adults, with under-3s accommodated free of charge and no supplement for a cot. Children staying in a room on their own are charged the full adult rate, and this offer cannot be combined with any other special.

All ages welcome at Hlosi alongside the Children's Programme. Children aged 6+ are automatically included in shared game drives. Children 5 and under may only join drives if permitted by lodge policy, or via a private game vehicle (subject to availability, additional cost). A Cubs on Safari programme runs for ages 3–12 with a dedicated Child Co-ordinator, and babysitting is available by prior arrangement (15:30 until after dinner) at R180 per family per hour. Pay 2 Stay 3 special offer does NOT apply at Hlosi. R1000 per night suite upgrade supplement applies.
