Long stay
Longer stays are rewarded with complimentary activity substitutions at no additional charge. On a two-night stay, one game drive may be exchanged for a horseback safari of one or two hours; on a three-night stay, one game drive may be exchanged for a horseback safari and a further game drive for a one-hour spa massage treatment. These are substitutions rather than additional activities, and the standard nightly rate applies to every night of the stay.
Family
Children aged six and over are welcome, and children from six to eleven years are charged at half the adult rate when sharing with at least one adult. Children aged twelve and over are charged as adults. Certain activities carry their own age minimums, including horseback safaris from age seven and the Fijnebos Spa from age twelve.

Tented Lodge overnight minimum age is 6 across stay, game drives and walking safaris. The reserve's Spekbos Day Visitors Centre welcomes children of all ages (game drives from age 3; a private drive can be booked for under 3s) — this applies to day visitors only, not to overnight Tented Lodge guests. Horseback safaris are 7+. Fijnebos Spa admits children 6–12 only between 08:00–10:00; adults-only from 10:00 (spa activities listed as 12+).
