The Detail

This traditional bush camp has ten spacious Meru Tents, comprising six twin tents and four double tents. Families are accommodated in a family unit that comprises one double and one twin tent interconnecting and sharing a bathroom.

Each tent features a four-poster bed, en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower, writing desk, storage facilities for your belongings, a fan, and a deck.

The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, library, and swimming pool.

The Makgadikgadi National Park teems with wildlife, including brown hyena, bat-eared foxes, aardvark, aardwolves, elephants, cheetahs, lions, habituated meerkats, zebras, and wildebeest. During the months of January to April, approximately 50,000 zebras and wildebeest migrate through the area. This migration is the second largest in Africa.

Camp activities include game drives, walking with meerkats, quad biking, horseback riding, bushman walks, visits to Chapman's Baobab, and observing the zebra and wildebeest migration during the green season months.

The guides at Camp Kalahari team up with a small group of Zu/’hoasi Bushmen to guide guests on a morning walk. They share insights into how they have survived in this harsh environment using their knowledge of plants, animal behavior, and survival skills.

Camp Kalahari is ideal for solo travelers, couples, and families looking for a unique and rewarding safari experience.
