The Detail
Chitwa Chitwa boasts six Luxury Suites, a Charlsy Suite, and the Chitwa House.
Each of the Luxury Suites features a double or twin bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, and indoor and outdoor showers. Additional amenities include a living area with a fireplace, mosquito netting, minibar, fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, iPod docking station, and a private lake-view deck with a plunge pool. Each suite can accommodate up to two extra beds for children under the age of 12.
The Charlsy Suite boasts two beautifully inter-leading en-suite rooms, a shared living area, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, and indoor and outdoor showers. It also includes a fireplace, mosquito netting, minibar, fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, iPod docking station, and a private lake-view deck with a plunge pool.
The private Chitwa House features two elegantly appointed en-suite bedrooms with private decks and outdoor showers, as well as a shared lounge and dining area. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, a television in the lounge, minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, a private lake-view deck with a swimming pool, and a private safari vehicle complete with a guide and tracker.
The Sabi Sands Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, allowing animals to move freely between the two reserves. The Kruger and Sabi Sands are home to the Big Five, along with other species such as cheetah, hyena, hippo, zebra, giraffe, various antelope species, and wildebeest. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is particularly renowned for its big cat sightings. The Kruger and Sabi Sands regions are also excellent for birdwatching, with over 500 species recorded.

Stay Longer For Less: enjoy a four-night stay at Chitwa Chitwa for the price of three, charged on the applicable per-person nightly suite rate for the tier booked. Valid for stays until 15 December 2026. The offer applies to suite bookings only and is not available on The Chitwa House; it adds no further meals, transfers or activities beyond the standard inclusions of the rate booked.
Family
Take The Family On Safari: accommodation is complimentary for one child under the age of 12 per family, provided the child shares a suite with the accompanying adults. Valid for stays until 15 December 2026, on suite bookings only and not applicable to The Chitwa House. The gratuity covers accommodation; conservation contributions, reserve entry fees and any chargeable extras remain payable.

Children of all ages are welcome to stay. From age 6, children may join standard game drives at the guide's discretion. Children under 6 are not permitted on shared game drives — parents must pre-book sole use of the vehicle (private vehicle exclusivity). Family accommodation: Charlsy Suite comprises two interleading suites (minimum 3 pax); The Chitwa House is an exclusive-use private retreat with two suites. A family package (4 nights for the price of 3 / full accommodation gratuity for children under 12) applies to one child per family and the child must share a suite; packages and specials do not apply to Chitwa House bookings. Babysitting / experienced nanny services available on request. Walking safaris are not a documented standard offering at this lodge.
