Children of all ages are welcome.
Rates: Free for children aged 0-2 years, 3-11 years pay 50% of the adult per-person sharing rate, and children 12+ years pay the full price. Private activities are required for families traveling with children 11 years and under.
The Details
Bakwena Lodge features 15 uniquely designed chalets. Guests can choose between ten River-View Chalets overlooking the Chobe River and five elevated Treetop Chalets offering stunning canopy views.
The lodge embodies understated elegance and top-notch service. It provides an all-inclusive safari experience in a prime location renowned for exceptional game viewing, particularly its large elephant herds. Activities focus on land and water safaris, all organized by the lodge. Additional options include guided bike tours and sundowner cruises at the unique confluence of four countries.

Chobe Bakwena Lodge operates in-house boat cruises on the Chobe River within the Chobe National Park as a core daily activity. Guests choose between a morning game drive or boat cruise, with the activity typically running from 06 h00 to 10 h30/11 h00. Long-stay guests (4 nights+) are also offered a lunchtime boat cruise on the Chobe River. The lodge owns 4 boats and employs 7 specialist guides, with activities not limited to set times.
Duration: approx. 4–5 hours (morning session 06 h00–10 h30/11 h00); lunchtime option for long-stay guests (4 nights+). Lodge owns 4 boats. 7 specialist in-house guides. Chobe National Park fees included in rates. Private boat upgrade available.

Four-Corners Boat Cruise
A unique boat cruise along the Chobe River to the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, where the borders of four countries — Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe — meet. This is the only such four-country confluence in the world and makes for a distinctively memorable wildlife and geographical experience on the water.
