The Details
The main lodge and four luxury safari tents are elevated on wooden decks, offering sweeping views of the open plains, and are positioned to ensure privacy and tranquility. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower.
HillsNek is ideal for families, small groups, or those seeking a truly romantic safari getaway and is available as an exclusive-use lodge on request.

1 Family Tent
This tent is seamlessly connected to the main lodge by elevated wooden walkways. Adjacent to the main tented bedroom is an interconnecting smaller room with two twin beds, offering comfortable accommodation for a family of four.
3 Classic Safari Tents
The Classic Safari Tent has a king-size bed, and each tent is situated on expansive wrap-around wooden decks that offer stunning panoramic views. These tents are connected to the main lodge.

Savor cuisine that excites the palate and offers a true taste of African culture, hosted by attentive local staff. All meals are enjoyed in the Main Lodge and are included in your stay.

- Children 0–2 yrs stay free sharing with parents (cot included); children 3–11 yrs charged at 50% of the adult sharing rate when sharing with parents. Children in their own room pay full adult rate. The group-wide "kids under 12 stay free" special does NOT apply at HillsNek.

HillsNek Safari Camp sets its own minimum age of 9 years to stay — higher than the Amakhala group's general 6-year minimum for game drives. Children aged 6–8 may only join game drives via a private vehicle, available on request at additional cost and subject to availability. Walking safaris remain strictly 16+. A Family Tent is available, comprising the main tented bedroom with an interleading smaller twin room, accommodating two adults plus two children — but this does not override the 9-year minimum stay age. The "Kids under 12 stay free" special and the kids' programme offered elsewhere in the Amakhala portfolio are not available at HillsNek. Cancellation terms are stricter: 100% cancellation fee within 60 days of arrival.

"Hi Chantal The Summit place guest house was First class , the warmest welcome Robyn was a first class host , the day drips to the wine region and Cape of Good hope etc where really good also. Limoni apartments where lovely, we were looked after by the maids and the property was fantastic . Amakhala service was fantastic, really first class couldn’t fault it. No issues with the cars or anything everything went well, thank you for organising it for us we would recommend you and your company!"
