Activities

Fishing

Ichingo offers some of the best fishing experiences in Africa, with access to both the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers. Anglers can try their luck catching tiger fish, bream, African pike, tilapia, catfish, and Zambezi yellowfish. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, the lodge’s fishing trips cater to all skill levels.

Bird Watching

Ichingo Lodge is a paradise for bird enthusiasts, boasting over 450 bird species. With your dedicated guide and tender boat, you’ll have the opportunity to spot rare and exotic birds, including African Skimmers, African Finfoots, and many more. The lodge’s birding excursions are perfect for both novice birders and experienced ornithologists.

Photographic Safaris

Tailored for experienced photographers, Ichingo’s photographic safaris are designed to capture stunning wildlife moments. The customized boats are equipped to provide ample space for gear and optimal positioning for the perfect shot. The guides have a deep understanding of lighting, angles, and wildlife behavior, ensuring you make the most of your photographic opportunities.

These boats feature fewer seats, allowing photographers to move freely and keep their equipment within easy reach. The setup ensures maximum comfort and safety for delicate gear, empowering photographers to bring along as much equipment as they need to create their masterpieces.

Game Drives

Experience incredible wildlife encounters on daily game cruises along the Chobe River. From the comfort of a tender boat, you’ll get up close to large herds of elephants, buffalo, lions, zebras, crocodiles, and more as they gather at the water’s edge.
