"We got introduced to Jaci's Lodge through a friend and spent two nights in the Nare suite. Simply, it was one of the most amazing trips of our life. Firstly the beautiful suite, with its own private pool, overlooks a waterhole where we encountered elephants, giraffes and rhinos, as just as a few examples. Then there was the food, which was delicious with all the staff being so friendly and accommodating. Finally, we were so fortunate on our games drives seeing a huge variety of animals including cheetahs, white and black rhinos and lions. The ranger was also outstanding answering all the questions we threw at him, along with tracking the more elusive animals. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jaci and her wonderful family who were so welcoming and great fun!"

"I was fortunate to spent my 49th birthday at Madikwe Safari Lodge with my husband and two teenage sons. The staff was incredible friendly and made this one of my best birthdays ever! They even baked a cake and came to sing for me under the stars! When I got to my beautiful, cozy bedroom (with under floor heating) a bubble bath with candles and champagne waited for me! I would definitely recommend this Lodge. The food, staff, atmosphere and game viewing was superb!"

"Amazing game lodge set in one of the most beautiful game reserves in South Africa. the service, the team and the whole experience is five star. I have been a few times to Jacis and have not been disappointing. (Being South African I have been to many but this one is my favourite) The lodge itself is tastefully decorated The rangers are passionate knowledgeable and most importantly respectful of nature. The rooms are comfortable and romantic And the food is Amazing. In other words All expectations are met. No matter how many times you return the experience is exceptional."

"A group of 10 of us visited from Scotland and 8 of us were experiencing our first safari experience ... What a place to experience it! The safari suite we stayed in was simply amazing and the plunge pool was a welcome sight after a morning drive. The children were treated like royalty ( ages 15, 11, 7 and 5 ) and nothing was ever too much trouble for the wonderfully welcoming staff! The food was amazing and Virginia and her team are a real credit to the camp. Mocca and all the other staff made us feel very welcome and very much at home. Our ranger David was simply amazing - kind, patient, a wealth of information and it was a pleasure to be in his company when you could feel his love for his job and his eagerness to share this beautiful area with us all. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special, I have been to many places but my heart has never been so heavy as it was when I left on the bush plane. We will be back and we look forward to seeing you all again! Princess Cara and her family send their love. X"

"My wife wanted to stay at the best lodge and have the best Safari. Jaci's Safari Lodge exceeded her expectations. The single unique feature is the new hide (or blind) that is built in a watering hole. We went every day to view the various animals come to drink. Saw 11 giraffes one day. The weather was a furnace -110 at mid day. But it cooled down at night and with night air conditioning it was great for sleeping. The plunge pool cooled us off each day. Armand our Game Ride guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. Food was very good, with one romantic dinner served at our tent. Barbecue was also wonderful. Spent time with Jaci at the hide waiting for a lion to come to drink. Everyone was just great and the service was outstanding."

"Set in Madikwe game reserve this is a super friendly and luxurious hotel. We stayed here 3 nights for a safari in one of their lodges. Lodge was very nice with beautiful big bath and large four poster bed, the shower was outside of the villa but accessible from the bathroom area and joined onto villa. Very open frontage to lodge with canvas and zippers which the staff closed in the afternoon. Our guide David was fabulous and very knowledgeable about all the animals, birds and insects. We saw the big 5 on the first day we arrived which was great. A wonderful experience which I definitely hope to do here again."

"We spent 3 nights as part of a special birthday celebration. It was a fantastic experience. From arriving and meeting Lauren (GM) and Anja our guide. Anja was brilliant and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent and the birthday cake was very special. It was great to watch the elephants right outside our unit."

"My family had 5 nights at Jaci's and loved every minute of it! Expertly led by our safari guide Sello, we had amazing wildlife viewing, including a herd of 70 plus swimming elephants, cheetah, wild dog puppies and much more. If that wasn't enough, coming back to the serene lodge and beautiful food felt like pure indulgence. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and felt like we were connected to the park outside even while staying in luxury. The staff were brilliant - happy, friendly, and devoted to making sure our stay was the best it could be. This was a magical family holiday for us, one that my 9 and 7 year olds will not forget. The lodge, staff and game experiences Jaci's provided will ensure this is a memorable family occasion."

"I have been to other lodges in South Africa and Botswana and my say Jaci's ranks on top. The food was great, staff was friendly and responsive and the game drive experience was superior. I had more sightings in a short stay at Jaci than I have had at Kruger. I cannot wait to return."

"Jaci's Safari Lodge delivers on every level. The team who run it are friendly, effective and extremely accommodating. The rooms are exceptional - I loved the big kidney shaped bath and outdoor shower as well as the effective day-to-night transformation of the rooms from open tent into cozy bedroom. Kids are well taken care of, with any special meals or arrangements happily provided. Oh, and the food! Almost the best part. Or it would be if it weren't for the game. Really, the food was without exception fantastic. And the game viewing experience was made more meaningful with our ranger David's vast knowledge that he was happy to share. Because the lodge is within a fenced area you can also get a decent walk in... good to walk off all the eating. And there are a couple of communal areas so if you feel like relaxing in peace but not in your room that's also quite achievable. I'd definitely recommend it to any families looking for a treat."
