Kings Camp is nestled within the private 53,392-hectare Timbavati Game Reserve, situated to the north and west of the renowned Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands. The Timbavati Game Reserve is famous for its stunning white lions, as well as the other members of the Big Five.

The Detail
Kings Camp features seven spacious Luxury Suites, two Honeymoon Suites, and the exclusive Waterbuck Private Villa. The Luxury Suites provide an elegant retreat with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor double showers, air conditioning, minibars, and private verandas with stunning bush views.
For honeymooners, the Honeymoon Suites offer all the luxury amenities, plus a Nespresso coffee machine and a large private plunge pool overlooking the African wilderness.
Perfect for families or small groups, the Waterbuck Private Villa accommodates up to eight guests and includes an upstairs Master Suite with an open-plan bathroom, two ground-floor Luxury Suites, and a detached Luxury Garden Suite. The villa also boasts a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, library, and access to two personal computers with Wi-Fi. Guests enjoy a private safari vehicle and the dedicated services of a butler, chef, and guide.
Camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, boma, bar, gym, swimming pool, spa, library, curio shop, and complimentary internet access. Activities at Kings Camp range from twice-daily open-vehicle game drives and guided bush walks to rejuvenating spa treatments.

Child rates
Timbavati Conservation Levy: R660 per adult per night (13+), R330 per child per night (2–12). Children 6+ welcome at Kings Camp Main Lodge; all ages welcome at Waterbuck Private Camp (villa rate R165,000 per night for 1–8 adults).
Notable exceptions
- Kings Camp Main Lodge accepts children aged 6 and older. Waterbuck Private Camp — a 4-bedroomed exclusive-use villa at Kings Camp with its own Land Rover, game ranger, tracker, villa attendant and personal chef — welcomes children of all ages. On standard Main Lodge bookings, private game drives can be arranged at an additional cost of R21,000 per day (non-commissionable), which can accommodate families with younger children on drives.
