Accommodation
With only six suites, three designed for families, the lodge is intimate, laid-back, and stylish, featuring decor inspired by the natural textures of the African bush. The double suites accommodate two adults each, while the family suites accommodate two adults and two children (under 16 years, on day beds in the lounge). Family suites also come with a private vehicle and ranger. All rooms feature private plunge pools and outdoor showers, enhancing the connection to nature.
Activities
Guests at Ecca Lodge can partake in twice-daily game drives, nature walks, and big game walking safaris. Those staying in family suites are provided with a private guide and vehicle. The Den at the lodge is well-equipped to entertain children for hours, and a shared lodge pool offers a perfect spot for communal enjoyment.

Honeymoon
Honeymooners receive 50 per cent off the accommodation rate for one partner, together with a romantic arrival box, a turndown with sparkling wine and an in-suite wellness treatment voucher. The offer is available throughout the year on suite stays, requires a minimum of three nights and applies within one year of the wedding, with proof of marriage on request. It cannot be combined with other promotions.
Family
The family rate at Ecca Lodge is a per-night rate for a maximum of two adults and two children under 12 years sharing a suite, and includes a private vehicle with dedicated ranger and tracker team as well as childminding services. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge, and complimentary childminding is included in all rates. A minimum stay of two nights applies, and the Conservation, Community and Reserve levy is payable per person per night at a reduced rate for children under 19 years.

Ecca is the family-friendly lodge within Kwandwe (sister lodge Great Fish River Lodge has a minimum age of 12). Children under 12 are not permitted on shared safari activities — families with under-12s must book one of the three Family. Private Vehicle Suites, which include a dedicated private vehicle, ranger and tracker as standard. Walking / nature walks require age 12+; big game tracking on foot requires age 16+. Cots with mosquito nets provided for ages 0–2; children 3–16 sleep on single beds (sources describe the family-suite cap as 'under 12', others as 'up to 16' — this reflects the child-rate threshold versus the sleeping arrangement). High chairs and pool nets available in family suites. Babysitting by first-aid-trained child-minders is complimentary but must be pre-booked.
