The Details
With 5,000 hectares of wilderness in this private concession within the world-renowned Kruger National Park, you can explore off-road, follow in the footsteps of a leopard, track down a herd of elephants, or simply wait for them to come to you.
Lion Sands' Narina Lodge offers a wonderful sense of remoteness and peace. Its nine luxury suites perch on stilts among 100-year-old trees just above the Sabie River. These suites are linked to a spa sala and intimate lodge via elevated walkways. The shared space is enhanced by natural décor and open design, extending out to generously furnished decks. From here, you can watch animals feeding on the opposite bank, engage in social conversations this inevitably stirs, or meditate on the rustling leaves.
The suites are designed to afford complete privacy in a wilderness setting where you can watch animals come down to the river from your pool, deck, bed, and bath. Glass sliding doors and windows open up your sanctuary to the outdoors, while a romantic canopy bed, sink-into-me couches, an egg bath for indulgent relaxation, and a personal bar all enhance the delight of being in Africa – in style.

Long stay
Book two or more properties in the MORE Family Collection and receive 10 per cent off accommodation at each, valid for travel until 31 May 2027 and excluding 20 December to 3 January. Bush & beach
Pair a Big Five safari at Lion Sands with a stay at Santorini Mozambique overlooking the Bazaruto Archipelago and receive 10 per cent off accommodation at both, with a minimum of three nights at each property, for travel from now until 20 December 2027. The itinerary includes one complimentary night in Lion Sands' Tinyeleti Treehouse, a catamaran excursion to Bazaruto Island with snorkelling at Two Mile Reef, and a 75-minute Santorini Signature Spa Treatment; these inclusions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including in the event of weather disruption. Each property must be reserved separately with its own reservations team, the promotion must be specified at the time of booking, block-out dates of 20 December to 10 January apply at both properties, Santorini Mozambique is closed from 5 February to 14 March 2027, and bookings are limited to five rooms or ten guests. The discount applies to accommodation only and is not combinable with other offers, with the exception of the returning-guest discount.

The Tinyeleti Treehouse is an elevated open-air sleep-out experience available exclusively to guests staying at Lion Sands Narina Lodge (or Tinga Lodge). It accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children aged 6–15 years. Reservations must be confirmed at time of booking; the experience is weather-dependent and priced separately from standard accommodation.
