You Should Know
Cots are available by prior arrangement, and one extra bed can be added in the pool-view rooms. This is only applicable for children between the ages of 4 and 12.

Batonka Guest Lodge provides a tranquil haven away from the bustle of town while being within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Renowned for its exceptional service, this lodge features 27 well-appointed rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies or patios. Some rooms also offer interconnecting options, perfect for families.
The main lodge includes both indoor and outdoor dining areas, a cozy lounge, and a beautiful verandah that opens onto the surrounding gardens and swimming pool areas.
Restaurant at Batonka Guest Lodge
The restaurant provides a relaxed dining experience with home-style dishes and offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Three meals are served daily: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast features a full continental spread with cold meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, muffins, and croissants, along with an option for a hot breakfast. Lunch includes an à la carte menu with six options and a selection of desserts, while toasted sandwiches are available throughout the day. Dinner offers a three-course menu with two options per course.
The bar is fully stocked with a variety of wines and spirits and is equipped with a coffee machine for a selection of coffees and teas.

Children under three stay free of charge, and children between four and twelve are accommodated at 50 per cent of the adult rate. One extra bed can be added in Pool View rooms for children aged four to twelve, and cots are available by prior arrangement; child minding is not offered.

Batonka is an urban boutique guest lodge in Victoria Falls town, not a safari camp — minimum-age rules for game drives, walking safaris and private game vehicles do not apply at the property itself. Such activities are booked out via third-party operators through the activities desk and are subject to those operators' own age rules. Families are explicitly catered for via interleading garden-view rooms (8 of 11), one room with an annex set up as a child's room, and the standalone five-room Flame Lily Wing which suits families or small groups travelling together.
