Source copy is contradictory: some statements say Biyela does not accommodate children at all, while the rate sheet states children aged 10 and older are welcome and that families with children under 12 must book a private vehicle. We treat the rate-sheet position as the operative general policy (min age 10 to stay), with a paid private-vehicle workaround on drives bringing the effective floor down for younger family members. Sister lodge Mthembu (same reserve) accepts children from age 8 — guests seeking under-10 access should be redirected there.
