Long stay
Longer stays are rewarded with complimentary experiences in place of a game drive. Guests staying two nights may exchange one game drive for a one-hour or two-hour horseback safari, while those staying three nights may exchange one game drive for the horseback safari and a further game drive for a one-hour spa treatment, both at no additional charge. Lunch may be exchanged for a picnic at the picnic spot free of charge, with no minimum stay required.
Family
Children aged 6 to 11 stay at half the per-person sharing rate when sharing a suite with at least one adult. Children from 6 years are welcome at the Tented Lodge, and those aged 12 and over are charged as adults. Day-bed space allows one child under 12 in the Luxury, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Superior suites, and two in the Executive Suite.

Tented Lodge overnight minimum age is 6 across stay, game drives and walking safaris. The reserve's Spekbos Day Visitors Centre welcomes children of all ages (game drives from age 3; a private drive can be booked for under 3s) — this applies to day visitors only, not to overnight Tented Lodge guests. Horseback safaris are 7+. Fijnebos Spa admits children 6–12 only between 08:00–10:00; adults-only from 10:00 (spa activities listed as 12+).
