Bumi Hills boasts ten opulent Suites that feature a four-poster bed, an en-suite bathroom with double vanity, bathtub, and shower; air conditioning, mosquito netting, minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, a lounge area, overhead fan, in-room safe, and a private deck overlooking the lake.
The 2-bedroomed Baobab Villa is a private retreat comprising a lounge, bar, and indoor and outdoor dining decks. It comes with a private butler, guide, and safari vehicle. The Villa can accommodate a maximum of 5 people.

0–6 years free of charge; 7–11 years 50% of adult rate; 12–15 years 50% of adult rate; 16+ years full adult rate. Children under 16 must share accommodation with at least one adult. Community & Conservation Levy: USD 42 pp/pn for ages 7–15; under 7 exempt. Full transfer rates apply to all ages.
Notable exceptions
- Bumi Hills accepts all ages year-round. Children under 6 are not permitted on shared game drives and must book a private vehicle (USD 500 per night, subject to availability). For safety, children under 12 are not permitted on Lady Jacqueline cruise experiences (Lunch Cruise and Overnight Cruise/Sleepout on Lake Kariba). Children under 16 must share accommodation with at least one adult and must accompany adults when leaving camp. A 2-bedroom exclusive-use Baobab Villa is available with private vehicle and guide included (priced for four guests sharing, max five).

Lady Jacqueline Overnight Cruise and Sleepout
The Lady Jacqueline houseboat on Lake Kariba offers an Overnight Cruise and Sleepout experience, included for international guests staying at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge for a minimum of 3 nights. The vessel accommodates up to eight guests and requires a minimum of two adults to book; exclusive use requires a minimum of four adults. Children under 12 are not permitted onboard for safety reasons.
