Named after an old giraffe that once resided close to the lodge which was once the Brink family home, this exclusive private lodge offers unsurpassed luxury and a personalized service.
Chitwa Chitwa boasts six Luxury Suites, a Charlsy Suite and the Chitwa House.
Each of the Luxury Suites feature a double or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, an indoor and outdoor shower; living area with fireplace, mosquito netting, minibar, fan, hairdryer, tea coffee making facility, iPod docking station, and a private lake-view deck with a plunge pool. Each suite can accommodate up to two extra beds for children under the age of 12 yrs only.
The Charlsy Suite boasts two gorgeous inter-leading en-suite rooms, a common living area, an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, an indoor and outdoor shower; fireplace, mosquito netting, minibar, fan, hairdryer, tea coffee making facility, iPod docking station, and a private lake-view deck with a plunge pool.
The private Chitwa House features two beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms with private decks and outdoor showers, a shared lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, television in the lounge, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, a private lake-view deck with a swimming pool, and a private safari vehicle with a guide and tracker.
The Sabi Sands Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park which means that animals move freely between the two reserves. The Kruger and Sabi Sands are home to the Big Five, as well as other species such as cheetah, hyena, hippo, zebra, giraffe, various antelope species, and wildebeest. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is however renowned for its big cat sightings. The Kruger and Sabi Sands regions are great for bird watching with over 500 species recorded.

While we have not traveled as yet
While we have not traveled as yet, the itinerary that we developed is very exciting and we are looking forward to this experience very much. Jayson Scheffers has been a wonderfully engaged and responsive partner in developing our agenda, despite our having some needs to change travel dates and agendas during the planning process because of family illness that necessitated our changing plans.

My first experience a number of months…
My first experience a number of months back wasn't as I wanted. I picked up with Dolan a little after this to find when the best time to Safari was with the chance of seeing the "big 5" and he was so helpful, guiding me to July-September. With the cooler winter months being the better chances to see more wildlife and the big five. This lead me on to deal with Jayson. Jayson has pulled out all the stops, working past 9pm Cape Town time( 8pm London UK) to help meet my needs. I travel out on 6th July and cannot wait, Thank you Dolan and Jayson. It was a great experience dealing with…
It was a great experience dealing with Shann. She was most accommodating and patient. We managed to sort things out very eventually. The only sore point I have is the 2 % surcharge for the card handling fee, which I find too excessive. Otherwise, I am pleased with everything.

Keith went above and beyond expectations arranging our holiday safari travels (for one vegan and one mobility-impaired traveller, no less:-). Safari.com is lucky to have Keith on board. Trip to Kruger at Mdluli Safari Lodge
I loved working with Anja from safari.com. She put together my itinerary within my price range and was very professional, thorough and empathetic. She followed up with me many times to see if I needed anything throughout my trip and even filled out some forms for me when I was having difficulty. When the lodge I stayed at was not being accommodating in the slightest, she quickly contacted the manager and got them to rearrange their services to meet my needs. I would most certainly use safari.com again due to my wonderful experience working with Anja.

Nicole at Safari.com is AMAZING!!!
I would love to share my experience with Nicole. She has worked tirelessly to help me make my dream vacation a reality. I had no idea how to start planning. Nicole suggested the most wonderful South African resorts and safaris. No matter how many changes I threw her way it was always received with a happy, positive attitude. I live in Hawaii and even though we were on a 12 hour time difference she was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Her expertise, knowledge and patience are unmeasurable. I was plagued with numerous payment issues from my bank in Hawaii. Nicole never wavered from being patience and more importantly positive that we could resolve each issue and get my trip booked. Nicole is a huge asset to Safari.com and I will scream it from the mountains to let everyone know what excellent customer service I have received. Nicole is a ROCKSTAR!!! We are so excited for our upcoming adventure of a lifetime!
