• Dunia welcomes children aged 5 years and older. A private safari vehicle is offered to families of four or more during the low season. During the high season, families with children under 12 are required to use a private game-viewing vehicle at an additional cost.

The Detail

Dunia, located in Tanzania’s central Serengeti, is perfectly positioned for wildlife spotting. During the annual Great Migration, guests can watch giant herds of wildebeest moving through the area right from the camp. Further afield, you may spot lions using the granite boulders of Moru Kopjes to scan the plains for prey.

Eight spacious tents overlook the Serengeti National Park’s vast golden plains. Relax on your private terrace or in the open-sided main tent with a chilled gin and tonic, and soak in the peace and stillness. Start your day with an unforgettable hot-air balloon ride over the plains, and end it with a magical dining experience under the stars in the bush.

The food at Dunia is prepared by on-site chefs. Begin your morning with a hearty cooked breakfast on the deck overlooking the Serengeti plains. Alternatively, enjoy breakfast upon returning from your game drive or opt for a packed breakfast to savor in the bush.

Lunch can be enjoyed as a light buffet at the camp or packed up for those who prefer to spend a full day out exploring the wilderness. After the evening game drive, a relaxed dinner is served at the camp, or you can choose a special bush dinner under the stars.
