Elsa's Kopje is located in the heart of the 444 789 acre Meru National Park, sculpted into the Mughwango Hill, above the site of George Adamson’s original camp where he raised and released orphan lions.

Two of the cottages offer a daybed or extra bed to accommodate three people.
Two of three Honeymoon Cottages offer an intimate setting with their spacious bedrooms, opulent en-suite bathrooms, and their small private decks with outdoor baths. The third cottage is a three-leveled suite with the main bedroom, en-suite bathroom, spacious living room, and a private deck.
The Family Cottage features a spacious main bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with twin beds for children under 16 years of age, two en-suite bathrooms, a shared living room, outdoor bathtub, and expansive viewing deck.
The exclusive Elsa's Private House is great for families and includes the main bedroom with a double bed and outdoor shower, second bedroom with twin beds and indoor shower, a shared living and dining room, and a private garden with infinity swimming pool.
The lodge facilities include an open bar, lounge and dining room; an infinity pool with views over the Meru Plains, spa, and laundry service.
Meru is regarded as lion and elephant country but is also home to rhino, hippo, and many rare species which include the lesser kudu, caracal and aardwolf. The park is great for bird watching with over 400 species recorded.
Activities offered at the lodge include daily game drives in open safari vehicles that are designed for comfort and photography, night drives which afford encounters with animals that are not active during the day, guided walks that explore the fauna, flora and smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush, day trips to the Tana River, a visit to the 84 square kilometer rhino sanctuary, river fishing, cultural visits and revitalizing spa treatments.

Botswana Experience
Anja, our agent, was very kind and helpful all the time to organize the perfect trip. She did it quickly and efficiently. The amount of days we spent in every place was perfect to really enjoy the hotels and the different activities they proposed (in general the hotels are very nice but we don’t have the time to really experience the place but here we did). Also the selections of hotels was very very nice. Nice infrastructure, excellent service (very professional) and outstanding places to visit (all the parks were great). We had a wonderful experience with the company in Botswana.
