• Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddie’s safari will be arranged between normal safari times. 

The details

River Lodge boasts 33 Deluxe Suites which are spacious and air-conditioned. The suites allow for uninterrupted views of the Big Five game reserve from the room or private patio. The styling is perfectly balanced with the rustic elegance, modern industrial and solid oak finishing.

The 16 Spa Suites are positioned a little way from the lodge to ensure guest privacy and are closest to the lodge spa. The expansive glass doors and picture windows throughout the suite offer unrivaled bush views. Each suite is also equipped with a minibar, coffee and tea-making facilities, as well as a in-room safe, hairdryer and international plugs.

Located with the spa suites, are the spacious 4 Spa Family Suites have triple balconies, large bedrooms that can accommodate an additional two beds for children sharing with their parents or for couples wanting the additional comfort of an oversized bedroom.

River Lodge has 2 Royal Suites that offer a substantial amount of space and features an en-suite bathroom with bath and double shower, a separate lounge, and extended balcony.
