The lodge has 24 luxurious thatched roof chalets, each spanning 33m² and equipped with modern amenities. Guests can unwind on private decks that showcase stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, each chalet features a lounge area, a coffee station, a minibar, and a separate en-suite bathroom complete with a carefully positioned bath for guests to enjoy the most of the breathtaking vistas. For convenience, free WiFi, a safe, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, and a vanity station are provided. The bedding configuration is flexible, with options for a super king or twin queen setup. Families are well-catered to 5 chalets featuring a sleeper couch suitable for children, and accessibility is prioritized with 3 chalets fully equipped to accommodate guests with mobility needs.
Experiences
Kuzuko Lodge offers a range of immersive experiences that allow guests to connect with the natural and cultural heritage of the region. Guests can embark on twice-daily game drives accompanied by experienced guides who provide intimate wildlife encounters and exclusive sightings. The Inzolo Spa provides a tranquil sanctuary with a selection of high-quality treatments. Guided walks are in the Hopewell educational area and on-foot encounters with non-dangerous games. Guests can enjoy a cultural journey through its San Rock Art tours and explore ancient cave paintings dating back 400 years. For a more independent exploration, self-guided nature walks around Hopewell allow guests to enjoy the landscape at their own pace.

Dining at Kuzuko Lodge offers a culinary adventure that combines traditional South African flavours with a modern twist, creating a unique and memorable gastronomic experience.
Guests start their day with a luxurious breakfast menu, a delicious high tea in the afternoon, and conclude with a gourmet four-course dinner. For an authentic bush dining experience, regular fire-lit bomas under the stars can be arranged. Kuzuko Lodge also offers personalised private dining options, designed to wow and delight, ensuring each meal feels bespoke and special. Emphasising their 'Moments of Magic,' the lodge serves everything from canapés in the bush to sumptuous and inventive Karoo cuisine, making each dining experience not just a meal, but a celebration of the rich local culture and flavours.
Something for the Kids
The lodge is a family-friendly destination that welcomes children of all ages, making it an ideal spot for intergenerational family holidays. The lodge features five specially designed family chalets, each with a sofa bed that can accommodate two children under 13 or one over 13, ensuring comfort for the whole family.
Junior Ranger Program
Children between the ages of 4 and 13 can participate in the Junior Ranger program, where they engage in educational and fun activities to learn about the wilderness and its inhabitants. For safety reasons, children must be over 3 years of age to join the game drives. Additionally, Kuzuko Lodge offers nature walks, to be tailored to different ages, allowing every family member, regardless of age, to connect with nature at their own pace and comfort level.

It was a great experience dealing with Shann. She was most accommodating and patient. We managed to sort things out very eventually. The only sore point I have is the 2 % surcharge for the card handling fee, which I find too excessive. Otherwise, I am pleased with everything.

Trip to Kruger at Mdluli Safari Lodge
I loved working with Anja from safari.com. She put together my itinerary within my price range and was very professional, thorough and empathetic. She followed up with me many times to see if I needed anything throughout my trip and even filled out some forms for me when I was having difficulty. When the lodge I stayed at was not being accommodating in the slightest, she quickly contacted the manager and got them to rearrange their services to meet my needs. I would most certainly use safari.com again due to my wonderful experience working with Anja.

I would love to share my experience with Nicole. She has worked tirelessly to help me make my dream vacation a reality. I had no idea how to start planning. Nicole suggested the most wonderful South African resorts and safaris. No matter how many changes I threw her way it was always received with a happy, positive attitude. I live in Hawaii and even though we were on a 12 hour time difference she was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Her expertise, knowledge and patience are unmeasurable. I was plagued with numerous payment issues from my bank in Hawaii. Nicole never wavered from being patience and more importantly positive that we could resolve each issue and get my trip booked.
