The Detail

Overlooking the reserve, Leopard Hills boasts eight newly-renovated glass-fronted suites, each with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, mosquito netting, heated towel rail, air conditioning, fan, underfloor heating, lounge area, bathrobes, hairdryer, umbrella, in-room safe, telephone, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary sherry, Wi-Fi, iPod docking station, and an expansive deck with a plunge pool.

The lodge's facilities include a comfortable lounge, elegant dining room, well-stocked wine cellar, bar, fully-equipped gym, traditional boma, curio shop, rejuvenating spa, library, and an open-air deck with a swimming pool overlooking a bustling waterhole.

The renowned Leopard Hills area is famous for its prolific leopard population but is also home to the Big Five and other species such as cheetah, wild dog, various antelope, hippo, and wildebeest. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, allowing animals to roam freely between the two reserves. With over 500 species of birdlife, the Sabi Sands is the ideal destination for a birdwatching safari.

Lodge activities include twice-daily open-vehicle game drives and daily bush walks led by professional guides. Nearby attractions include scenic helicopter flights, cultural village tours, elephant interactions, and golf at Leopard Creek.

Stay & Pay

Free nights are offered on the multi-lodge itineraries that feature Leopard Hills: stay six nights and pay for five on the Luxury Bush Duo, stay eight and pay for six on the Luxury Bush Trilogy, both valid 6 January to 31 May and 1 November to 20 December 2026, and stay nine and pay for seven on the Kruger to Cape Luxury Escape, valid 7 January to 19 December 2026. These package rates are not combinable with other special offers at the lodges, and a single transport surcharge applies to guests travelling alone.

Last minute

A reduced short-stay rate is available for travel between now and 20 December 2026, bookable only within 21 days of arrival. A minimum stay of two nights applies over weekends, and bookings made less than one week before arrival are subject to confirmation by the lodge. Children pay the adult rate and no children under ten years of age may be accommodated.

Long stay

Multi-lodge itineraries combining Leopard Hills with sister properties include complimentary nights. The six-night Luxury Bush Duo, pairing three nights at Leopard Hills with three nights at Kings Camp, Madikwe Hills or Tuningi Safari Lodge, offers one free night, staying six and paying for five; the eight-night Luxury Bush Trilogy through Madikwe, the Sabi Sand and the Timbavati offers two free nights, staying eight and paying for six. Both are valid 6 January to 31 May and 1 November to 20 December 2026, include the stated flights and transfers, are not combinable with other lodge offers, and carry a single supplement for solo travellers as well as a surcharge should the routing be amended.

Bush & beach

The nine-night Kruger to Cape Luxury Escape combines three nights at Kings Camp, two nights at Leopard Hills and four nights at Camissa House in Cape Town, with two nights free, staying nine and paying for seven. Valid 7 January to 19 December 2026 and available in either direction, it includes a two-hour elephant experience with picnic en route to Leopard Hills, listed flights and road transfers, full board with local beverages in the bush and bed and breakfast with daily high tea at the Cape. The Skukuza to Cape Town flight, conservation levies and park entry fees are excluded, the rate is not combinable with other lodge offers, and a single travel surcharge applies to solo travellers.
