Lion Sands' Narina Lodge has a wonderful sense of remoteness and peace. Its nine luxury Suites perch on stilts among 100-year-old trees just up from the Sabie River, and link to a spa sala and intimate lodge via elevated walkways. This shared space is enhanced by natural décor and open design, extending out to generously furnished decks. From here there are views of animals feeding on the opposite bank, and you can engage in the social chatter this inevitably stirs or meditate on the rustle of the leaves.
The Suites are built to afford complete privacy in a wilderness where you can watch the animals come down to the river from your pool and deck, as well as bed and bath. Glass sliding doors and windows open up your sanctuary to the outside, while a romantic canopy bed, sink-into-me couches, an egg bath you can wallow in up to your chin, and a personal bar all add to the delight of being in Africa – in style.

Highly recommend Safari.com and Dolan!
I can't say enough good things about Safari.com and in particular Dolan Sequera. South Africa was daunting to plan for and felt I needed some help. I did a lot of research and chose Safari.com and was matched with Dolan. I had a general idea of the trip I wanted to plan for my husband, myself, and our two children (19, 21). Dolan was incredible. He listened to what I wanted and make excellent recommendations. Then he helped book it all. Our trip was 16 days and we visited Cape Town, an Elephant sanctuary, and Safari. And everything went incredibly smooth - no hiccups. He even welcomed me when I landed in South Africa and checked in along our trip. A couple of times I needed to change transfer times and he responded immediately. I felt confident he would help us if any issues arose. It was a trip of a lifetime for my whole family and I am thankful for the help from Dolan and his team at Safari.com.

Outstanding and professional performance by Pascal John
Pascal John quickly proved his professionalism as well as his in-depth and experienced knowledge of South Africa safaris. He demonstrated the ability to rapidly understand what I was looking for out of a safari trip and how to make that happen. He added real value to the process with his connections to lodging reservations at various lodges and arranged for an itinerary that is not possible to accomplish by oneself on the internet alone. For example, he was able to negotiate away for me a single supplement. He added immediate value and quickly/painlessly everything came together.
