Londolozi Tree camp is simply a fantastic experience from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was great, the welcome, the food, the suites, staff, rangers, trackers. Everything is beautiful and the attention shown to the guests is tremendous. This was our first stay at Londolozi after staying at several other game lodges in the Sabie Sands and this lodge is definitely one of, if not the, best. Special thanks are due to Melvin and Milton and Tresta who made our stay so utterly fabulous. Should be the holiday of a lifetime for anyone but we're already planning our return. Thanks again.

My wife and I chose to spend our honeymoon in South Africa, and nowhere could have been a better place to start it than at Tree Camp in Londolozi.Just outside the famous Kruger national park, we arrived with much trepidation having travelled a lot in East Africa on Safari and having already had amazing experiences there, but we can categorically say Tree Camp and the Londolozi game reserve surpassed all our expectations and much more.Following an over night flight to Joberg from Cairo, and a short jaunt in a bush plane to the airstrip we were met by our guide Mark who we could instantly tell would be a wealth of information, as well as a joy to spend time with. Our orientation and check-in was swift, and on arrival to the rooms we were in awe which says a lot having spent so many holidays in Kenya and Tanzania luxury lodges. The room we stayed in had 4 main areas: a large living room/study, bedroom, bathroom, and outdoor deck with plunge pool and it was the type of room you would be really sad to leave.Because the whole lodge only has 6 suites, you feel extremely well looked after by Jess, the camp manager and her team, and the service is superb. The food is incredible. A small and elegant buffet, can be accompanied with hot dishes made to order from your butler for breakfast. Lunch is usually comprised of light salads, and dinner is a choice of 2 gourmet set menu options. The safari experience was very different to what we were used to as well. In East Africa, you just tend to drive around following radio reports of sightings, however we had the honour and the privilege to have Elmond, John Varty's personal tracker on our drives alongside our guide.Once out in the bush they would look closely for big 5 tracks, and once found they would spend some time on foot before climbing back in the car to drive ahead and locate the animals. Their ability to track animals on foot left us in awe. It was like seeing some ancient skill performed before us all for the purpose of our enjoyment of the amazing South African wildlife.I could go on and on about how amazing Londolozi is, but words will never describe how great an experience we had there, and we highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Everything at Londolozzi is perfect!!! The people, the accommodations, the food and of course the game park! Fantastic! Nothing to complain about here!! Hoping we get to come back soon! The view from our room was spectacular! The people are so accommodating….We wanted to go on foot in the game park so our ranger arranged it for us. We tracked and found rhinos, it was incredible! We got up close to lion cubs eating an impala and saw wild dogs immediately following a kill…incredible!!

Just returned from 2 weeks in Africa, 4 days spent on safari in South Africa at the Londolozi Tree Camp in Sabi Sands. We had the most amazing experience. To start, the accommodations were beyond 5 star, with every detail and need attended to. Food was great, plentiful and the setting was pure luxury in the middle of the bush. All of that was fabulous & unforgettable, but the heart of Londolozi is the staff, the rangers, trackers.... Our ranger was Rich and our tracker was Lucky- both absolutely brilliant at their jobs! Rich brought so much to our experience. Not only was he knowledgable about all of the animals in Kruger, he had first had experience with several generations of the Londolozi leopards and was able to paint a clear picture of family histories for each of the leopards that we saw. Rich was incredibly thoughtful, reliable and took very seriously the fact that we had traveled a long way for this experience. Each day, he was very clear on which animals we had yet to see/desired to see, and he used the network of rangers to track and deliver. On top of all that Rich is a great person who cares about his animal and human communities within Kruger. When you spend close to 28 hours of game drives with someone, it's important to feel a connection. Rich has our utmost respect and gratitude. Also, special thanks to Jess and Matthews.Other highlights at Londolozi include the sunset cocktails and conversation in the bush with Rich, Lucky and our fellow safari mates (as well as the baboons and leopards that passed by while we were toasting the sunset). Big 5 and tons more! Star gazing. Boma fire dinners. All in all, a most memorable experience. We most definitely will return to this very special place.

This has to be up there as one of the most wonderful, memorable holidays we've had. The flight there was a bit hair-raising. We had to scare the giraffes off the grass runway before we could land. Our bungalow accommodation within the camp was just beautiful, and spacious, and luxurious. The knock at the door for the first safari was a bit of a surprise as it was still dark but worth the experience. We saw elephants, including babies, within the first 20 minutes and most of the 'big 5' that day (Elephant, Leopard, Lion, Buffalo, Rhinoceros). The staff were excellent and friendly, eating on the balcony was stunning (apart from the thieving monkeys which was quite amusing)!Listening to the lions roar at night, being woken from an afternoon nap by an elephant eating the branches of a tree no more that 10 meters away, being escorted back to our bungalow late at night by an armed guard just in case of stray animals in the compound… all added to the experience.

Unorgettable trip in South Africa
We have spent 12 days as a family in South Africa with my 3 children and my wife who is in a wheelchair. Thanks to Pascal, Safari.com consultant, we were able to spend an unforgettable moment with a great program while being well accompanied despite our constraints. I recommand particularly the "Monwana game lodge" for a safari in Hoedspruit. It's an amazing place with very nice people and a real family atmosphere. Thank you to the entire Safari.com team for this unforgettable trip.

Superior service, knowledgeable, transparent, amazing can-do attitude
These guys get 10/10. I have booked with them a few times. To Kruger National Park, including both public and private(concession) camps, flights and car hire. Their senior agent, Dolan is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Attention to detail, transparency, and 'can-do' attitude are out of the ordinary. I recently came into contact with Tanya at safari.com as well. It looks like all their agents are similarly well trained. Thank you. I cannot recommend Dolan and his team highly enough.

Cape Town miracle
I was in Cape Town, South Africa recently for an athletic competition and had allowed myself a week of personal time to relax and properly conclude the trip, but had not bothered to plan a safari to occupy the time. I was skeptical of the cost and whether I would enjoy the experience, however a couple days into that final week it occurred to me, in a bit of a panic attack, what a waste it would be not to take advantage of this opportunity. I hopped online and started looking at flights to Johannesburg (almost all the safaris in SA start there with an early morning pick up), but it was basically impossible to get a flight early enough and/or to coordinate with the multiple safaris operating in or just outside of Kruger. With no apparent options available to turn my remaining 4 1/2 days into even a 3 day safari I stumbled on the most obvious website one could imagine, Safari.com. I'd completely given up negotiating all the variables on my own but here was a safari travel agent that might be able to help me .. and they were based right out of Cape Town, literally a stones throw from my lodgings. Serendipity, or so i hoped. I immediately sent out an email and crossed my fingers .. for roughly an hour and a half, at which point Dolan from Safari.com responded to me requesting I give him a call so that we could expedite potential arrangements. My in country phone plan wasn't able to make calls, but we arranged for him to call me and not 3 hours after being in the grip of despair Dolan got through to me and far from notifying me of how absurd it was to hold out hope for a literally, last minute safari adventure with barely 4 days available to me, he had already worked out all the details I'd sent and created a preliminary safari trip that would bypass Johannesburg airport for a flight the next morning to a closer, much, much smaller airport where I would be picked up taken, not to a 3 day safari, but a full 4 day safari, then back to the tiny, tiny airport for a return flight to Cape Town with 2 hours to spare for my return leg all the way home. It almost feels like an afterthought, after the minor miracle Dolan was able to conjure up, but the safari itself at Simbavati Lodge was just an absolutely stunning experience. The single "tent" he booked me was as luxurious as any 4 star hotel I've stayed in, the game drives, one every morning, one every evening were more amazing than I could have ever imagined, and the food, 3 meals a day with snacks and an open bar was sublime. I could go on about the wonderful staff, or the wonderful other safari goers you can meet and grab a drink with, or the different animals walking through the open lodge facilities daily .. but I've gone on long enough. I'll simply conclude by saying .. safari, absolutely, yes, do it, it is amazing. And when you do decide, Safari.com will do you right and if you have the pleasure of working with Dolan, do give him my thanks .. the entire experience was the best part of my trip :)

A great company
What to say! We planned a South African Safari for 2020 with Safari.com. We researched companies and took a chance on one we had never heard of before. Henry Franklin was our agent, we gave him our budget and wish list. He came up with a wonderful looking trip and we made our choices! Then came Covid, preventing us from going. We couldn’t have been in better hands. Henry rebooked everything for the next year. He kept us updated on how things looked there. When in 2021, we decided it still looked iffy, he rebooked us a second time for 2022. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we had in a rough time for all. We had a wonderful experience on our trip when we finally got to go!! Henry had everything so well organized and gave us a detailed list of what transfer companies would be meeting us and when. When Airlink bumped us and put us on standby returning from Victoria Falls, we called the concierge number Henry had given us and Catherine worked hard on this and got us back on our flight. The Safari.com team had our back and we have no regrets. Would definitely use them again. Our lodging was wonderful, saw the big 5 within first 2 drives. Henry definitely knew the territory and did a great job matching what we wanted with where he suggested we go and stay. Thanks Safari.com, Henry and Catherine!
