The detail
This boutique lodge, an oasis in a wildlife wonderland, offers unrivaled panoramic views over the game-rich floodplain and Chobe River. It is located on the doorstep of Chobe National Park, also known as the "Land of the Giants," as it is home to the largest population of elephants on Earth.
Expect a vast and diverse array of wildlife as knowledgeable guides take you on safaris through the Chobe National Park, lazy afternoons by the pool, and stunning dinners under African stars.
Ngoma is a small boutique lodge set on a plateau overlooking the Chobe River and floodplain. All eight thatched river-facing suites boast spacious internal and external living areas, a large luxury bath, an indoor and outdoor shower, air conditioning, overhead fans, a minibar, and tea/coffee facilities, including a Nespresso machine.
In addition, each suite features a private ‘refresh and relax’ pool conveniently located in the external living area. All rooms are equipped with three-quarter beds that can be converted to a king-size bed. Two of the eight suites have sofa beds and may be used as triples. The sofa beds are recommended for children between 10 and 11 years. Each suite offers a view of the river and presents the opportunity to see Chobe's famous elephants, migrating zebras, or buffalo grazing on the floodplain below.

Stay & Pay
Stay three nights and pay for only two, with the third night complimentary. The offer is valid from 15 November to 31 March, excluding 20 December to 10 January inclusive, and conservation and community levies remain payable per person for every night of the stay, including the complimentary night. Terms and conditions apply, and the offer is not combinable with other specials.
Honeymoon
Honeymooners receive 50% off the bride's accommodation, together with a private dinner, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and one complimentary couples massage per package where the lodge offers it. A minimum stay of five nights across Machaba Safaris lodges is required, the offer is available all year and cannot be combined with any other special. Couples must have married within the preceding six months and a valid marriage certificate must be sent at the time of booking; conservation and community levies remain payable for the bride for the duration of the stay.
Long stay
Ngoma Safari Lodge features as part of several multi-camp Botswana itineraries, including a five-night romantic journey with Little Machaba, an eight-night classic circuit with Machaba Camp, Gomoti Plains and Kiri Camp, an eleven-night exploration adding Verney's Camp, and a thirteen-night route taking in Ingwe Pan, Verney's Camp and Old Drift Lodge. All are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, laundry, lodge activities, house beverages excluding premium imported drinks, taxes and the stipulated internal transfers, with conservation and community levies payable in addition. Seasonal rates apply through to 10 January 2027, and the thirteen-night route is available in high season and from 1 November to 15 November 2026 only.
Family
Children from ten years of age are welcome, with those aged ten and eleven accommodated at a reduced child rate in every season. Two of the eight suites include a sofa bed for one child.

Children 10 years and older are welcome as standard. Younger children may be accommodated only if the entire lodge is reserved on an exclusive-use basis. Accommodation comprises 6 Luxury Suites plus 2 Luxury Suites with a sofa bed suitable for 1 child (recommended for ages 10–11), so only one child can be accommodated per such suite. A private game-drive vehicle is available at $550 per night, but it is not offered as a workaround for under-age children at Ngoma.
