Sabi Sand Game Reserve, the "birthplace" of sustainable wilderness tourism and development in Sub-Saharan Africa, loved by guests and staff alike as a place of wilderness, wildlife, and adventure. Home to the extensive Mpumalanga cross-section of wildlife, including the Big Five and various endangered species, the park also shares 50 kilometers of its unfenced boundary line with neighboring Kruger National Park. Animals pass casually between the two parks, unhindered and abundant.
Children
• Children under the age of six are not permitted at Notten's.
• Children 12 years and under enjoy a 30% discount.
• Children of all ages are welcome where the entire lodge is exclusively booked. (minimum of fourteen people).
Notten's Bush Camp is established on a privately owned region of the greater Sabi and plays home to one of South Africa's most valued natural ecosystems. Unfenced and completely open to the huge variety of wildlife in the area, Notten's is also home to a team of trained and experienced Shangaan trackers who ensure a holistic introduction into the wilds of the area.
Accommodation at Notten's consists of nine exclusive safari suites, with open plan bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor shower facilities, ceiling fans, insect coils to protect against mosquitoes, and private decks. Lighting is not electric, but paraffin powered.
Facilities at Notten's include restaurants, a cocktail lounge, swimming pool, bird watching, pubs, twenty-four-hour laundry, masseurs, curio shop, and a wellness center.
Guests to Notten's Bush Camp have a variety of activities and planned outings laid before them. Included in the visit are open-vehicle morning and evening game drives and professionally guided bush walks through the unfenced wild of the park, exciting spotlit night game drives, the Notten's Nature Spa which offers a full range of treatments, as well as a short drive out to the fantastic Skukuza golf course.
Just like many of the camps in this area, Notten's is home to impressive selections of Big Five and various other animal groups, all of which have spent so much time in the park that the presence of tourists and rangers has ceased to startle them - making game viewing a pleasure. Hyena are also regularly spotted in the area, as well as grey duiker, kudu, bushbuck impala, common waterbuck, and nyala, elephant, white rhino, buffalo, and giraffe. There are also 303 bird species native to this area and are a regular snapshot delight - especially on guided walking tours of the area.
• Rates are fully inclusive of three meals, accommodation, two game drives and bush walk per day, local soft drinks, house wines and beers are included.
• Morning and evening game drives, and accommodation are also included.
Exclusions
• Excluded from the price are bar expenses, massages, laundry, transfers, and items from the shop.

Outstanding and professional performance by Pascal John
Pascal John quickly proved his professionalism as well as his in-depth and experienced knowledge of South Africa safaris. He demonstrated the ability to rapidly understand what I was looking for out of a safari trip and how to make that happen. He added real value to the process with his connections to lodging reservations at various lodges and arranged for an itinerary that is not possible to accomplish by oneself on the internet alone. For example, he was able to negotiate away for me a single supplement. He added immediate value and quickly/painlessly everything came together. This includes booking flights, ground transport, lodging and wildlife drives. I can without reservation recommend working with Pascal John at Safari.com.
