The concession is by far the most diverse within the whole of Kruger, with almost three-quarters of the park’s bird, mammal, fish, amphibian, reptile, and tree species being found here. With an eco-friendly lodge (Pafuri Tented Camp), two walking safari camps (Pafuri Walking Safaris), and an exclusive-use house (Baobab Hill House), guests enjoy a curated, deeper safari experience tailored to ensure journeys of discovery for all those who visit Pafuri.
Pafuri Tented Camp is positioned along the Luvuvhu River, shaded by the giant trees that overhang the camp, shrouded in the history and incredible biodiversity of the region, offering guests an immersive experience unlike any traditional safari location.
Guests can enjoy scenic game drives to various points of interest in the concession, including but not limited to Lanner Gorge, the Limpopo Flood Plain, the Fever Tree Forest, the Nyala Berry Forest, seasonal wetlands, and Mangala. Bush walks—an ideal way to experience the forests, floodplains, gorges, and kopjes between the two rivers—allow for a more intimate exploration of this remote and pristine landscape. Pafuri Tented Camp offers a walking activity from April to October each year (Pafuri Walking Safaris) to celebrate a rarely explored landscape that is as vast and varied as it is wild. Guests staying at Pafuri Tented Camp can pre-arrange to swap out a morning game drive for a bush walk to explore the concession on foot.
Experience the beauty of bush dinners along the Luvuvhu River or bush breakfasts amongst the giant Nyala Berry trees, as well as boma evenings filled with storytelling by the Makuleke people. Full-day excursions with a picnic lunch, allowing you to venture further afield, can also be pre-arranged with the reservation office.

She was able to get me on the priority waitlist for a lodge that I liked, which ended up working out for our group during my preferred dates. Leigh-Ann was responsive and provided various tour recommendations for us to decide on the best option for us. There were a few email and name typos from Leigh-Ann that I had to correct, but other than that, I had a great experience.

3-nights Zambia trip
I would start by saying before I started talking to Leigh-Ann Croeser I knew I wanted to go on this 3-nights adventure in Zambia with my family towards the end of this year, but I did not have any idea of how to go about planning it, thankfully Leigh-Ann responded immediately to my enquiry. Ever since I started communicating with her, she has been a very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, awesome Luxury Safari consultant who came through for me in every step of this process. She offered great advice and did a great job in customizing our itinerary and put my mind at ease in the process. She always responded quickly and gave me great advise when I needed. Dolan was terrific
Dolan was terrific. He got back to us immediately to answer all of our questions. And was so nice to hold a room for a couple of days because of my moms passing. It gave us time to finalize her arrangements and time to book our trip. I would highly recommend using him to book your trip!!

Went through Newmarket travel and Hays…
Went through Newmarket travel and Hays travel ..information about flight changes hard to get..but on arrival the holiday was taken over Safari.com..amazing ..experience everything was fine tuned and the staff ..guides drivers fabulous and friendly ..lots of knowledge..lots of fun and the surprises they did was so lovely ...loved every minute ..Paris our guide was amazing..10/10 and Eric driver ..the waiters and waitress every and everyone in the hotels .smiling and friendly..Best holiday of my life
