You Should Know

• Children of all ages are welcome at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge.
• Children aged 0-18 years are charged child rates. Children aged 19 years and over traveling with parents are charged adult rates.
• Children aged 3-6 years will be accommodated on a kiddies drive from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at no extra charge. They will need to be accompanied by an adult guardian of the parents’ choice within the group booked.
• Children aged 0-3 years may only go on game drives if a private vehicle is booked at an additional cost.
• There are no afternoon or evening game drives for children aged 3-6 years. Instead, there will be supervised kiddies playtime or activities between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm in winter, and between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm in summer.
• A 2-night minimum stay applies.

The Details

Hluhluwe-iMfolozi National Park is Africa's oldest game reserve and is home to the beautiful Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. Spanning over a 96,000-hectare park, Rhino Ridge is a 4-star luxury lodge that offers spectacular scenery and excellent Big Five safari opportunities.

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge features 18 rooms in four different room categories. Each room has been carefully positioned high up on a ridge to maximize the spectacular views over the hills and valleys of Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park while ensuring maximum privacy for its guests.

Luxury Bush Villas

The eight Luxury Bush Villas include a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, luxurious indoor shower, private wooden deck, mini bar, fireplace, overhead fan, and air conditioning.

Honeymoon Villas

The two Honeymoon Villas include a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, luxurious indoor shower, private wooden deck, mini bar, fireplace, overhead fan, air conditioning, and private plunge pool.

Safari Rooms & Safari Family Rooms

The four Safari Rooms and two Safari Family Rooms feature twin or king-sized beds, en-suite showers, separate toilets, private wooden decks, mini bars, overhead fans, and air conditioning. The Safari Family Rooms offer two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and a common, interleading lobby.

Some rooms are a distance from the main lodge area, so guests are encouraged to pack comfortable flat shoes for walking along the paths.
