Known as a fantastic game viewing and birding destination in KwaZulu Natal, Rhino Sands is situated in a prime location for a private Big 5 safari adventure.

Each of the four tented suites is situated in a private area of the surrounding riverine forest and offers magnificent views of the river below, where animals frequently come to drink at permanent water holes throughout the year. Each classic tent is designed to open completely on three sides, allowing guests to truly admire the African bush. The tents are luxuriously appointed with a private swimming pool, lounge, and outdoor shower.

The main camp area features a reception office, casual bar lounge space, formal lounge, and both formal and casual dining areas. There is also a large boma area complete with a bush oven for guests to enjoy dining fireside beneath the stars. Electricity runs entirely on a solar installation.
