  • Children under 16 years of age are not permitted on bush walks.

The Details

Nestled along a curve of the seasonal Monwana River, Saseka Tented Camp stands as one of the most desirable luxury safari destinations within the Greater Kruger Park region.

The word "Saseka" translates to "beautiful" in the local Tsonga language, a fitting name as everything here—from the elegantly designed tented suites to the tranquil ambiance, exceptional cuisine, and attentive service—embodies that description.

The camp features nine luxurious tents, each equipped with a private deck, pool, and outdoor shower, accommodating two guests per suite. For families or small groups, Little Saseka offers a shared lounge and dining area, a communal deck and pool, and a private safari vehicle.

The lodge offers various facilities and services, including babysitting, a bar, bush breakfasts (weather permitting), a deck, game drives, a lounge, mobile coverage, riverbed dinners (weather permitting), a spa, wake-up calls, and Wi-Fi access.

Experiences

Thornybush and Sabi Sand Nature Reserves share an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park, creating one of the richest areas for native wildlife in Southern Africa.

With the Big Five freely roaming under the expansive skies of the Greater Kruger Park, guests enjoy consistent and exhilarating encounters with these iconic animals. Twice-daily game drives, guided bush walks, or even relaxing at the lodge provide incredible opportunities to experience the wildlife.

The variety of wildlife in this region is truly remarkable, ranging from giraffes and zebras to hippos, hyenas, wild dogs, antelope, and hundreds of bird species. Skilled guides and trackers, who possess deep knowledge of the bush and an innate ability to find the action, will bring you close to it all in open-air safari vehicles.

"We had a wonderful experience booking with Safari.com. The whole team (advisor, insurance, concierge, payment) is so professional and the process so smooth. We had the best travel advisor Sara Van Coillie. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient getting to know our needs and preferences and make the best booking uniquely suited for us. She even called local visa services companies for us due to a visa issue. We’re very grateful for the wonderful support."
